essie Nail Color Polish, Navigate Her

Great color--day or night and all seasons.

This is like a lime-avocado green color, exactly what I was looking for!

I love this color of nail polish, but the bottle I received was old and already sticky and dry, so difficult to apply and clearly had been sitting for a long time. Disappointing.

LOVE this color. It's more of a matte lime green that's not flashy and bright as you'd expect instead of the more yellow color in the product photo but it's great. The product came weeks quicker than expected and was wrapped neatly in clean packaging. Would recommend the product and buy from this seller again

...and my standards are pretty low. I was vaguely disappointed to see that the color was actually way different from the soft, pale and almost floral green color in the picture, but at the same time, I should have expected it. Pictures are often way different from reality. But the green turned out to be kind of a pale mucous-y/slime green and very dull looking.Neverthless, I decided to try it. It had barely dried before I was removing it. It has potential, and would look great with certain outfits and in certain settings, but I had no purpose for it and I didn't like the way it looked. It made my skin look rather yellow and jaundiced around the hand area. Plus, the name is just awkward and kind of crass, in my opinion. I love Essie nail polish-- just not this color.

This polish is definitely green. Besides that, though, it has a very odd texture. I noticed when I opened the bottle that it was much less viscous than usual. I had to be really careful because the product was so thin that it is very easy for it to drip off the brush. I had to paint three layers to get any real color. And when dried, it has a very plastic-y looking texture. My husband said my fingers looked liked they’d been “dipped” rather than painted. Not a fan. It looks cheap.

The opacity is extremely low and needs tons of coats to build up the color.

It’s not the color pictured. We ordered Navigate her which looks like a light yellow but a light green came. Looks like everyone on here leaving a review is saying this. Luckily my daughter will use it with all the little designs she does so it’s no big deal for us 😊

A favourite colour of mine from the Essie collection as it isn't one of those generic colours you see on people's nails on a daily basis, good summer colour and goes well with a tan. Applies nicely and only needs two coats.
