Amazon outer shipping box was carelessly constructed leaving seven inches inside for the product box to flop around on. The product Box had a damaged corner but the products inside were in perfect condition because of the excellent packaging by the seller. Mats themselves were perfectly cut, beautiful quality, with nice backer board and flat cello sleeves for shrink wrap. Makes my work appear even nicer because of 4 ply mat. Excellent value.

This is a really nice set. Everything came quickly and complete. I was able to use for some needlepoint work, which now looks very good matted and safe in a bag. Looks so good no need to a frame.

I like to keep these on hand for art projects. The order comes with everything you need: a quality mat, the backer board, and a plastic sleeve to protect your project. I've ordered twice already. I've used them for myself but also with kids and senior citizens. When a project is properly displayed and finished with a mat kit like this the person has something ready to give as a gift or put into a frame. They are always so proud and often surprised at what a beautiful piece of art they have created.

I think these mats will do the job just fine, but they barely made it through the shipping intact. Upon delivery, the box was pretty beaten up and had gouges. When we opened the package we found some corner dents and a little crumpling of a couple of the backer boards. I am pretty sure we can use them, but on the next order, I will be sending them back if they arrive this way. The main issue is that they are boxed too tight with no padding or protection other than a thin plastic wrap. You need to box the mats so the corners are protected, the tight box does not do this. We love your products, but as I said, if we get them in this condition next order we will be sending them back.

The value of this package is amazing. I couldn't believe my luck to find all this for the price and then to find out I got the clear covers also!

I'm really pleased with the quality of this matting! The black is indeed dark, clean, black. Both the matting and backer are sturdy with clean cut lines. The clear bags are also great quality. Extra points for thoughtful packaging, not only well protected in the box, but also the plastic wrap which wraps the stack of matting and the stack of backers. Each of these was wrapped in a pattern that allowed me to carefully open one side to remove single pieces while keeping the rest wrapped. It's a really thoughtful pride in work that is refreshing to see.I really couldn't be happier and will definitely continue buying these.

I have an art business and so I need large quantities of mat kits on a regular basis. I've bought several times and am a repeat customer. Aside from having all of the things I need in one convenient package, the mats are always cut cleanly and straight. I especially like this brand over others because they're black is actually a neutral true black, instead of a dark brownish or purpleish black like some of the other brands. My only feedback is I wish you weren't using styrofoam in your boxes, because it crumbles and sheds everywhere, as well as being terrible for the environment. Some folded pieces of cardboard would do the same job and be recyclable. Other than that I have no complaints and as long as you keep your quality consistent I will keep buying them.

This set of 25 pre-cut black photo mats and back boards plus the plastic covers is probably the best "beyond expectations" item I have ever bought from Amazon. The mats are perfectly cut and exactly the size listed. The back boards are also perfectly cut and exactly fit the mats, making a perfect project making set for anyone doing photo/art mounting. There are also 25 plastic covers to put one over each finished project and create the best impression of professional work. You only have to have your design, photo, and the glue (I used rubber cement) to finish the project.Not only are these very well made, they are also shipped in a great package that does not allow damage (at least not easily). I am extremely happy with this purchase. I am attaching two photos of the craft designs I made on two of the mat boards. I made them for each family member with designs they would enjoy, and I mounted a family photo I had done this year for Christmas for each family member. I am not showing the final project, which has the personal family picture, but you can see how nicely the mats work for this project, and the back boards made them so sturdy to hang! I just had to add a hangar on the back of each back board.Very, very happy.
