Worked okay
Wasn’t able to get tubing to flare at first even by following enclosed directions. The 1/2 copper tubing I was using would just get pushed down in the jig clamp no matter how tight I had the wing nuts. Found information on the internet where other users had solved that problem by clamping the flaring jig with vise grips to get extra pressure on the copper tubing. Tried that and the tool made a perfect flare!

I had to use this kit to make some brake lines for the Jeep I was working on at work and at work just fine thank you very much

Not a good value unless using it 1x
Worked great for about 10-12 times on 5/8 OD Type L copper tubing but then gave up the ghost before the project was done. I would not buy this again, I would spend a little bit more. If you are in a pinch and you have a small job to do I'm sure you could manage with it but if it cant hold up to copper I wouldn't trust it for a brake job. The main problem was the knurling or threads that are meant to hold the tube in place when you go to flare it gave out and would no longer keep the tube from sliding when you try to flare it. I cleaned them out to try and get a better grip on it but upon further inspection I found the teeth were flattened.

Check the dies when you recieve this kit.
This set works good but after using it a couple of times I noticed I had two 1/4" flaring dies and was missing the 3/8" flaring die...

Great kit and great value!
This kit shipped to me quickly and it was just as pictured in the product images. It is well constructed, not cheap quality, and made flaring the brake lines easy. I was able to flare them in no time, which helped me get my vehicle up and running faster. I saved a ton of money doing it myself, which made this kit well worth it.

It Works. No issues
I did an entire Nisan Titan Pick up with this tool over 14 perfect copper and replacement line seals made. Only issue I found was that if you try to flair a factory line the line tends to slip the tool rather then form the flair grip can’t hold it
