Good product with good value compaired to other brands on Amazon. Used to replace a kayak rack mount and for a DIY portable LED light. Work as to how they are described, and can bee threaded tight without any thread damage so far.

I picked these up as a replacement for one that fell off my kayak rack while driving. Seem to work well. Threaded right on.

I looked at all the similar metric thumb nuts I could find on Amazon. I ordered a few different types (including some that are all stainless steel). These turned out to work best in my application, which surprised me. These are plastic with brass inserts and very inexpensive compared to the others I purchased. To have them perform the best was unexpected.These are the less common type of plastic thumb nuts that allow the stud / bolt to go all the way through. They do not have a smooth cap, but instead are open. That's the feature I needed, and it is not easy to find in this style of nut. I bought the 8mm.Based on my experience, I don't think you'll have any problems with these if they fit your requirements. I see these are mostly rated 5 stars, but currently 7% of reviewers gave 1-star. I can't imagine why unless it was something unrelated to the product itself.However, do keep in mind that where multiple sellers are selling the same product on an Amazon listing, quality can vary between sellers. Therefore, I'll note that the seller on my order was lkelyonewy and it was fulfilled by Amazon; as I said, I'm satisfied. No issues.UPDATE; I noticed that these plastic knobs are hollowed out on the underside. While that does not impact functionality in a major way, in my application that hollow area collects powder material and makes cleaning the equipment more difficult.I found the same type of finger nuts available on Amazon (ASIN B08PBNZNNS), at an even better price, and they are completely solid. So I took off one star of my rating for this product and I'll rate the other one 5 stars for what I feel is a superior design and better value (15 instead of 12 at almost the same price).

I bought these so that I can easily remove the cage from my son's go-kart for transport. They do the job and were very inexpensive.

They might not look exactly the same, but they fit just right

These have worked great for my purpose. I lost a threaded knob for a telescoping Deadshot shooting stand somewhere in the woods. These were the perfect thread size for my bolt on the shooting stand. Very satisfied. Got lots of extra now.
