Breathing "dragon" mouse pulses in colorful designs & gives gamers more choices for control, modes, etc.
My 10-year-old son is the gaming guru who wanted this cool mouse to go with the laptop he got as a Christmas gift. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot. We were both amazed! It not only works perfectly well as a mouse, but it looks super cool with its changing colors! Plugged it into his new Windows 10 laptop & it was ready to go (also worked on an old MacBookPro), but then we loaded the software & saw all the customization that can be done. He didn't need to adjust much but we did have fun changing the color scheme and pulsing/breathing pattern! A dragon, get it? ;-) I assume he'll grow into the added functionality of programming specific modes and such for other games, but right now he's mostly all Minecraft (and YouTube videos about Minecraft). I'm a trackpad, non-mouse convert myself so I don't get the fascination but it sure is a cool, creative choice! I think any gamer would be pretty thrilled with the capability (& visual appeal) of this design. We have the black one & he set it to "breathe" purple/blue/red. Love the braided cable with velcro loop for longer life & ease of cord management since we were used to a wireless mouse. No complaints from here. Feels pretty solid & well-built. We picked black to hide the grime of tween boys' hands.

If you want a good, light gaming mouse on the cheap, and don't want the extreme ergonomics of the other models, look no further.
For the price, I feel like I'm complaining too much. This mouse tracks very well, it's very accurate and looks cool. Though it has thumb buttons for right-handed users, it's a ambidextrous design so if you can learn to use your ring finger on the side buttons, you are good being a lefty with this mouse. It also looks cool, with the lava cracks that light up. My only complaint with the light system is there's only pulse lighting or nothing. You can slow or speed it up but you can't set it on always, only off or pulse. Other than that, the weight of the mouse might be the only other issue. It's a very light mouse, which is some people's cup of tea, but the cord is wrapped and somewhat stiff, so the mouse tends to drift from the front if you don't hold on tightly. The wheel is great and feels great. The color coordinated DPI settings are a nice touch. Probably the biggest complaint is the drivers and configuration suite, or rather, accessibility to them. It includes one of the tiny CDs which is fine, but if you want the latest driver and software, you have to download it from their website, which is pretty slow to respond, and the download took forever, during which my connection was reset several times. I finally got a copy of the software downloaded after almost a day of restarting the download, and installed it and it worked great. It even looked good and had a straight-forward user interface.

this mouse is very nice. Pros
Coming from a Logitech MX518, this mouse is very nice.Pros:- Build quality is spot on.- There is no rattle.- Buttons are nice and clicky.- Price point.- Adjustable colors.- Comes with software to customize everything including your own macros.- Braided cord.- 18 month warranty.- OMRON switches.- Looks awesome.Cons:- The M1 and M2 buttons are really easy to click on accident as they don't require much pressure to trigger. This might be a pro for others.- It's on the smaller side. I wish it was just a tad bigger. All in all, it's a great buy.

Left click stops working when holding down the button
I thought that I should start off by stating that this review is for the Redragon M701 Lavawolf since 7 different mice are combined into 1 product page. It does state "Color: M701" at the top of the review but I wanted to make sure everybody knows which mouse this review is for.The mouse is pretty good for the price but I have 2 issues, 1 warranted returning it and purchasing another. The 1st issue is that I had trouble holding the mouse comfortably without pressing the side buttons. There isn't enough room for my thumb to grip the left side of the mouse comfortably without pressing the side buttons. I normally hold my thumb flat on the side of a mouse but ended up having to bend it and grip the mouse with the tip my thumb. The 2nd issue is that the left click would stop working while holding it down at different time intervals, usually around 20 to 30 seconds. I tested it many times and made sure that I still had the button firmly clicked down but it would still fail after 20 - 30 seconds. This seriously affects certain things in the game that I primarily play - Team Fortress 2. I thought that I would mess around with it and see if I could come up with a solution but I saw another 2 star review on here where this issue was mentioned.Other than that, the mouse worked great once I figured out that I needed to change the polling rate in the driver software from the default 250MHz to 1000MHz.

Good but not my type
Lavawolf M701 ~ I like the mouse but compared to the other ones I've owned before it just isn't my kind. It has 6 different LED colors for the mouse, braided cable, Side buttons, and a dpi switch on top. Its a great mouse especially for the amount I paid like 15-20$. The main things I dont like about it is the texture on it (which some people might really like) is kind of gritty and rough - it provides a nice grip but it's not my style, the scroll wheel isn't my favorite as it has the grooves which some people might like. Its just very more detailed and "unsimplistic" than my other mice I've owned previously. It has plenty of dpi options ranging from 100-3500 dpi and hz from 125hz - 1000hz. It's very customizable and it would be a great mouse for people who enjoy this style of design. I recommend it to people who enjoy rough (grippy) texture, LED customization and groovy scroll wheel.
