U Konserve - Stainless Steel Food Jar, Keeps Foods and Liquids Hot or Cold for Hours, Double-Walled and Vacuum Insulated, Dishwasher Safe (12 Ounce, Ocean)

I use this daily for hot cereal. I make my breakfast, add hot water and throw it in my lunchbox. It stays hot from around 7:00am until 9:30is when I eat my breakfast. It’s easy to use and cleans great in the dishwasher. I still can’t get the sticky label residue off the outside despite the fact that I’ve used it every day for months. I would suggest the company doesn’t add that sticker. I’m not going to reduce my review for it because the functionality of it is above and beyond what I was expecting.

It's a nice size to carry for lunch. I did prepare it as recommended, but the food close to plastic top was not kept hot. It did get warmer as I ate down. Ion

These were on a sale with a deep discount, but still not worth the price.I have a few of the larger all stainless Insulated Food Jars and really like them. They are the best I've tried and keep food hot/warm for hours if used properly.However, this smaller version was a big disappointment. It did not perform as well as the larger jar. The soup was cold in a couple hours even though I preheated the jar with hot water and kept the Jar wrapped in a kitchen towel in a soft cooler for additional insulation.Also, water infiltrated the bottom plastic part after a few washings. I did not have it submerged in water, just sitting in sink with water pouring in to rinse after washing. The bottom plastic came off with just a little work revealing a wet bottom (as seen in pic), perfect place for mold to grow.I was also bummed that the entire cap is plastic. This is not shown in the product pictures, and I assumed that the cap would have stainless on the inside like the larger version so that plastic didn't come in contact with hot foods.The biggest problem for me now is, I bought a few of them to give as gifts, but after using it myself I would not give them away to friends and family. So now I'm stuck with 5 of them that I'll never use.

When I got this item I thought I can use it for any food item. But its mentioned in the instructions that its only for Rice and soup. We cannot wash the lids in dish washer and too many limitations on using the product in the instruction sheet given. Some how I was not happy with it but still send my son to preschool with his lunch in it. Like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chicken fingers etc...It serves ok but not too great. For my son he eats small quantities. So I just need either one of those containers which came with it. But with out putting the top container the lid wont fit. Some how I was not too happy for the price I paid. I expected much more for atleast the price I paid.

This thermos is AWESOME! I put boiling water in here, (with the cap on) let it sit for a few minutes while I warm up soup, empty the water out, put the soup in and it stays warm for my daughter's lunch! The first time it was too hot for her to eat, and in fact it was still warm when I emptied it out at the end of the day, way more then 8 hours later. Great thermos, highly recommend it.update:We did encounter it being stuck shut for the first time tonight. Both my husband and I tried to get the lid off, ran hot water over it and everything. I thought we would have to toss it, but then I did the jar trick. Turned that baby upside down, smacked the top flat on the counter and it opened! Hurray!

I love this thermal container. I got it for my youngest son to take warm lunch in to vary away from the normal 'cold' lunches. It's a sturdy product and the thing I like most is the lip of the container is not sharp. I have a similar product of a different brand for my older son and the lip of the container is super sharp. I always feel like I am going to cut my hand on it when I am washing it.

I bought this for my 6-year-old to take his lunch to school. He has truly enjoyed having a hot lunch option, and I have enjoyed the reliability of this container. The food stays warm for hours after being preheated with boiling water. I highly recommend this product!

I love these containers I bought one to use my lunch bag and loved it so much I bought two more. They do not keep your food really hot like a regular thermos which is not a problem for me but they keep it nice and it they don't leak. I've had so many thermoses and they all leak that these are really great they don't like it I'll drop them and they don't break they seem to hold up really well.
