Fantastic Device - Worth Every Red Cent - Buy This One
Big plus on the touch screen that more expensive ones don't have. Was able to reset my SAS in 3 seconds that the more expensive brand could not do. Very easy to use and the auto vin detection worked that did not work on the more expensive brand.Does what more expensive brands do not. Bought two other brands, one cheaper and one twice the price as this unit, and although these two brands had different names they were both from the same company (red flag) and both made claims such as SAS reset, but neither actually could do it, but was told in a message they "support it". This one did reset the SAS in 3 seconds and I cannot express how nice of a scanner this is. I am more inclined to write reviews that are negative, but had to express how happy I am with this scanner. Easy to update, easy to use, has more functions than more expensive ones, has a TOUCH SCREEN, and cannot beat this unit especially after paying twice as much for a scanner without touch screen that could not reset the SAS, and had to manually put in the vin number each time using buttons to navigate the numbers and letters.

Great scanner
I should have purchased one of these a long time ago . This unit is very easy to navigate and has features like recording I was not expecting for the $$. Super easy to connect to WiFi and to both cars . Decent size screen and responsive touch screen.

Great but might have to pay for updates
Great little scanner. But once I started it up and did updates, message poped up saying only the fost year is free, then after that something like $29.99 a year after that for updates. Other than that, great tool for the price. Fast and easy to operate

Evoleving into a useful tool, update has left me wanting
I am a retired auto tech, I have used all the big 3 scan tools starting in late 80's all the way up to last year. Also Snap ons red brick and Modus. Since I retired I can't borrow scan tools from work. I had Innova code reader, but need a tool to interact with ABS module, and interact with commandable actuators. This tool did eventually do the abs module bleed I wanted to do. It wasn't easy. Finding the correct menu was not straight forward, when I did get to the correct selection screen my truck year was not listed. Back out to home screen, which you can't choose until you stop the current task.Manual enter all my truck info, go to service procedures, abs, add additional truck info, and there is my truck year, do the abs bleed. Done put it back in box.Today I am traveling 200+ miles get 2 miles into my trip check engine light comes on. Stop for gas, get scanner out, hook up and try to read codes, nothing can't do anything w/o a wifi connection to the internet. Should be able to read generic OBDII codes w/o an internet connection. Anyway I hot spot to my phone good strong 4G LTE connection on phone, scan tool connects easily. Try to read codes tons of error messages it doesn't like my hot spot. Finally after many trys and not taking error for an answer I got my codes, weren't a big deal and went on my way.The use interface is poor at best needs a lot of work. It does not remember the vehicle when switching between code reading/clearing and service module, you have to reenter vehicle info every time, during same session. Tool stores history I went there tried to select my truck for another session, of using tool mostly for familiarity, nothing would not move the vehicle info to current. Nor would it show me any info stored during the session the history was saved. This might be ok for the hobby tech, not for a professional, time is money. This could be a fast tool, the hardware seems good, the touch screen is responsive, when I do make choice the response is quick. The software just doesn't cut it. It should remember the vehicle info when switching between modules, this would be a huge time saver. It should at least read codes with out an internet connection, live data would nice too.Would I buy this again? No, I should have returned it. I am hoping an App update comes around that makes this more user friendly.Topdon contacted me after my review. They asked what I would like to see fix. I wanted to able to read and clear codes without a wifi network connection.Topdon made an update with in a few days, I updated my tool easily.Today while helping a friend at their home I was able to read obd II codes, and clear without a wifi internet connection. The tool is responsive an code reading is quick and easy now. I haven't explored to see If vehicle info must be reentered when switching to different modules, I will explore this soon and up date my review. With this recent update this tool is useful, and for the price it can do what more expensive tools do. I would buy this again.Thank you Topdon7/12/23 I do not use this tool every day. Most of my cars have no computers. I am working on my daughters 2005 Honda Element. It has an abs light on. I found the problem with out a scan tool, a sensor had a damaged wire. Doing routine maintenance, flushing old brake fluid, I attempted to service bleed the abs module, function not supported. Update firmware and Honda software, same results function not supported. Do system scan, only 2 modules this tool will access, PGMfi/diesel and AT. This car has ABS,SRS modules as well, but no support or access to the abs or srs modules. Multiple attempts to read codes from abs system, always says module not equipped. Same for SRS scan module not equipped. No codes stored according to this tool. I expected this tool to be a two communications device, at this point it nothing more than a code reader. I would be money ahead with an ELM327 and free phone app.Very important be sure to have a battery charger on your battery this thing is so slow by the time you are getting any useful? information your battery will be dead.
