My dog is getting older and is having a hard time going down the stairs. He seems scared and hesitant. After doing much research and reading reviews, I decided to try these stair treads.Not only do they stay in place, they are nice and soft. Non-slippery when heading down the stairs. So gentle and easy for my dog.After a few days, he was used to them being there. He is no longer afraid or hesitant to head down.Honestly, I am amazed at how great they work.They are easily removable in order to clean the stairs and place right back. The fact that I don't have to stick anything to my stairs is a bonus. Great product!

I had had a set of thin plasticy stair treads which had a brown, felt like patterned surface before. They worked, but caught dirt and especially hair and were impossible to clean, and got gross quickly. And we don't even wear shoes in the house!We tossed those, but after a person in my household slipped and fell in socks, I needed to make sure that wouldn't happen again. These were perfect - they're a soft rubbery bottom with a neoprene fabric kind of material on top that's easy to wipe, vaccum or frankly just shake off hair from. I wasn't sure about the pattern at first but it's grown on me, and now I appreciate the visual cue for each stair as well. They do move back along the stair over time but I find it easy to slide them back every once in awhile, and so far am quite pleased. Our toddler has a nice grippy surface to walk on and no one has slipped since. Would recommend.

These work well. I used sticky fabric pads for a few years so that my old blind dog can go up and down the stairs, and they worked well but OMG the hair collection was lit. These are much nicer looking and the dog has no issues with them. I bought them without looking at the details and didn't realize they had no sticky backs, so I was confused for a second, but they grip fine on wood, no slip that I detected. Overall great product but a little pricey for some slips of rubber.

We love these. They don't have an adhesive on the back, which makes them easy to put in place. They do slide just a little bit, but for the most part, they do a good job staying in place. We use them both inside & outside. We love them on the hot deck steps! Keeps the kids from burning their feet.

I really wanted stair treads so my older dog could get up and down our wood stairs. They looked really nice, fit perfect, were comfy, and stayed in place for the most part (minor movement but I would readjust and it wasn’t a deal breaker for us). The best part was my pup start coming downstairs a lot more often and obviously appreciated them too. Unfortunately, they will not work for us. We have three dogs and their hair stuck all over these and were way too hard to clean off. If we shook them, a lot was still there. Sweeping with a broom and hand vacuum didn’t do much. I even tried a Swiffer wet pad like someone else recommended on here and it was a flop. The only thing that worked was using our Lilly brush to scrape it off each then vacuuming the pile to the side with our hand vac. This is too time consuming to do daily and the hair visibly collected and treads looked super dirt after just a day. I’m sure machine washing works but I need a convenient way to clean them in-between washes during the week. Disappointed because these checked all the other boxes - especially price!

I got these for the wooden stairs so we'd stop slipping down the stairs and our older dog could go up and down without falling.

I can’t express how much these are exactly what I was looking for, especially at this price. I have 13 stairs and it took me about two minutes to set these up. They have a nice thickness—cushioned but not a trip hazard—and the rubber grip works really well. They do move a bit, but they just need to be lined up every once in a while. Their own weight and the backing keep them mostly in place; they’ve never felt like they’re going to slide out from under me when I step on them. I haven’t fastened them down in any way. The only potential con I can think of is that they’re pretty smooth, almost like a scuba material, so they maybe could be a little slippery for someone who’s not 100% steady on their feet.

They fit perfectly and he color is great. They are very soft and comfortable to walk on. Super easy to install

these are fabulous. easy to vaccuum and clean. my 3 year old lab was relegating herself to one level due to fear of slipping on our hardwood stairs. we often retire to the basement in evenings and she stayed alone upstairs. now thst we put these on all our stairs she freely attends all levels of the house to join the family. it took some months but she now comfortably trusts the stairs. they are just lifted off to clean the stairs or remove when company is over if you desire. well worth the money.

SON SIN ADHESIVO mala suerte para mi antes tenia unas que si traian en las escaleras que son de loseta así que después de 2 años ya era justo cambiarlas pero están se ven super resistentes el material es bastante denso y de calidad preciosas solo compré una cinta doble cara para reforzar y que no se muevan mis perros ya suben más confiados al principio se movían ahora ya no y se ven geniales

Tape ritos fáciles de limpiar y cumplen con su función, aún no se qué tiempo de vida tendrán.

Estan muy buenos, buena calidad en relacion al costo, pero por el material se ensucian muchisimo y eso los hace impracticos.

Se requiere adherirse al pido con algún adhesivo, porque le falta agarre al piso y se desliza, fuera de esto cumple con su función
