Good structural craftsmanship; vibration just ok
I've used acupuncture pillows like this before, but they didn't have the vibration feature. I assume it's the vibration/motors that have bumped the price of this up to $60. The nice thing about this pillow is that you can just use it as a regular acupuncture pillow if you don't like the vibration. The base material is a thick woven cloth. The plastic pokey shapes are securely attached to the surface. They're sharp, but don't truly hurt or cause any damage to the skin. The pillow base has a good firmness that helps with cervical issues when used for short periods of time; it's too firm for me to use for extended periods, and I wouldn't want the pokey bits poking me for that long anyway. So, the vibration. It's not my favorite. I'm not sure it greatly enhances the therapudic benefits of the acupuncture stuff. But mostly I don't like it because it's loud in my ears. It's not loud in general, but when your ears are right up against it, it's somewhat overwhelming. The vibration is powered by two AA batteries hidden in a small battery pack inside the zippered section of the pillow. The battery pack box is super flimsy feeling and the cover doesn't stay shut very well, but it gets the job done. There are two tiny buttons on the side of the pillow that power it on/off and change the mode. There's are different intensities of the vibration, as well as patterns. There's no storage bag for this. It seems like a sturdy and well-made product overall.

firm
This is very firm narrow pillow with plastic pieces attached. The pieces are quite sharp and are supposed to stimulate the skin or muscles. There is battery powered vibration feature. They suggest start using for a short time, and if the plastic feels too sharp to use it over clothing. It feels nice when I use it for the neck pain. Feels quite relaxing even without turning on the vibration

Interesting device for neck pain.
Okay, this is one of those "not sure if I like it or not" items. It's definitely something you want to start using slowly and for very short periods of time as the vibration can be intense and those little spikes are SHARP!Once you get more used to feeling like you've fallen into an extremely thorny rose bush, it does seem to begin helping with neck pain and stiffness. I did ask my doctor before I started using it-- he looked at me like I might be in need of head-meds, but said I could give it a try if I started out very slowly on the lowest settings. So I've been pretty hesitant about using it for more than 5-10 minutes at a time, and haven't yet gotten used to the feeling of the vibration options enough to be able to use them as well. So, I have to give this product a "middle of the road" review. I can see where it could be helpful, but the initial pain could be a deal-breaker for many people.

Hurts so good!
It releases the stress and strain in my neck head and shoulders almost instantly. I just relax and breathe and enjoy the experience and feel wonderful afterwards. However, it’s not for everyone. It is painful but if you control your breathing it does wonders for your neck and lower back pain. It’s not a forever fix but when you are in pain it does help ease it. I see no point in the vibration features hardly felt them and it requires AA batteries. This is why I’m taking off 1 star but overall I recommend the product.

Vibration gives this a whole new level
The vibration gives this Kanjo Vibrating Acupressure Pillow a whole new level from other acupressure pillows. It's sturdy, easy to use and can definitely help with back and neck pain. The main problem is that it takes a bit getting used to this type of treatment unless you've used a pillow like this before. This can also be used without using the vibration feature, which is nice. I use this in short sessions when I need a little extra help with neck pain and have had good results.

Good Quality, Loft, Vibration Options, May Not Be Suitable for Hypersensitve or Hive Prone Skin
I like the concept of this vibrating acupressure pillow, but am not sure it’s something that I can incorporate into a daily wellness routine due to my skin being rather hypersensitive to the hard plastic points (which makes my skin itch). This isn’t due to the quality of the product, just something I should have considered prior. This device requires two (not included) AA batteries, and has an on/off button as well as vibration mode button. The vibration modes are interesting and I think could help potentiate the acupressure effect to help suit one’s needs and tolerance levels.I personally find the acupressure points too intense and thanks to my skin having been going through some hypersensitive changes in the past while, I do worry about triggering hives with this. I do think it could be helpful to those less sensitive, and like the firmness, size and feel of the pillow. Thanks for reading.

Surprisingly Effective for Soreness, Takes Some Getting Used to
I had no idea what to expect from this pillow having never tried acupressure before. It's both more and less painful to use than you would expect. It's surprising at first, but then your body gets used to it. After you have used it for a few minutes and remove yourself from the pillow, that's when you really start to feel the relief. I do think it takes time and practice to build up to using the pillow for longer periods of time to get to the point where you can get the true benefits from it. I also really appreciate the massage feature and the different modes you can put it in. Very nice to use after a long day in the office!
