It's so stinking cute!! The basket is a little flimsy compared to the last one I had but it makes it easier to dump the contents. Only draw back is not being able to see the water level, but I can't be trusted with glass so it's a learning curve.

My best friend and I are absolutely obsessed with tea, and even though we've been buying bags and leaves for years, we've never taken the time to invest in a really quality, beautiful kettle.I had to change that.When my friend moved into her first home and began talking about how she was trying to add some blue tones in her kitchen, I knew I had to finally get her a teapot in her favorite color. When it arrived, it came in a TOPTIER box that was enclosed in an Amazon box. The TOPTIER box had styrofoam padding inside surrounding the teapot and accessories, so it was definitely well kept. There were not many instructions included, so if you don't know how to boil water for tea, you're going to have to YouTube it.My friend absolutely ADORED her gift. The navy blue was the perfect shade, and the blue was accented with painted black lines on the ridges surrounding the teapot. It is a great size for a single person, so if you're looking for a pot to serve a whole party, this may not be your first choice.

It looks great, and it works really well too. It's exactly big enough to make two large mugs of tea. By the time I have finished the first mug, the tea left in the kettle has retained its heat, which would never happen with ceramic pots. Tip: Rins pot with boiling water to rinse it and heat it up. Then make tea. That way, the boiling water for tea is not used to heat up the pot as much.
