Brilliant camera and no ongoing storage charges unlike the Ring cameras.Super clear image in daylight and at night time which is a big upgrade from our cctv camera which is terrible at night time.Has settings that enable you to designate which areas you want to monitor on your property and which to exclude which is handy as we are a corner property and get lots of passing traffic at the end of the driveway that we don't want to be notified about, and it pings an alert to your phone when anything occurs in that area marking it under a category such as motion, lingering etc.The default card only records when something happens and loops over existing recordings, so there is no endless scrolling to find what you are after, and there is plenty of room on the default sd card in the camera, we've had it installed a week and still able to see video that was taken whilst we were installing it. The camera does have the option of upgrading the card to something larger should you need it however.The set up is really easy to do via the easy to use app and installing it was just a case of taking the old doorbell off the wall and screwing the existing two wires that connected that into the back of the new camera, nice touch is that it comes with a template making it straight forward to know where to drill the holes as well as extension wires so that it wasn't so fiddly to install.Really happy with the camera and can't recommend it enough.

The AOSU wireless video doorbell was simple to install and connects quickly to my Wi-Fi. The video quality is sharp and clear, even at night. Motion detection works well, and notifications are instant. Battery life is impressive, lasting several weeks on a single charge. A reliable and convenient security upgrade!

This review is after having the camera ~200 days. In that time we have probably charged this device 5 or 6 times. The 180 days on 1 charge is highly misleading. That assumption is on 10 events per day 20 seconds average. I would say we average 5 on weekdays and 10 on weekends at 10-20seconds at this needs charging almost monthly. However it isn't too inconvenient to charge it.On the flip side. The doorbell provides great quality videos, easy to set up and easy to use app. The biggest positive for me is the lack of a subscription, which puts this brand of doorbell above the rest.

The 5MP UHD camera quality is absolutely phenomenal—crystal clear both during the day and at night. The dual-band WiFi (2.4/5 GHz) ensures a reliable connection, and the triple motion detection has been incredibly accurate without too many false alerts.While the audio clarity could be a bit better, it hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me. The fact that there’s no monthly fee, 180-day battery life, and local storage for 2 months just adds to the value. Integration with Alexa has been seamless as well.Overall, I’ve been extremely happy with this purchase. It checks all the boxes I was looking for—high quality, reliable performance, and great features without ongoing costs. Highly recommend!

I’m really happy with this doorbell. The 5MP video is super clear, both day and night, and the motion detection works very well without constant false alerts. I’ve been using this doorbell camera for over a year now and I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for home security. The video quality is sharp, the recording capabilities are reliable, and it doesn’t require a subscription — which is a huge plus these days.The companion app is regularly updated, and works without a hitch. I especially appreciate how smooth the playback and notifications are. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add a bulk delete function in the app to manage recordings more efficiently — that would really take it to the next level.One minor downside: the battery stopped charging properly just after the one-year mark. But to my surprise, customer service was incredibly responsive. As soon as I reached out, they were quick to assist and offered a replacement without any hassle. That kind of service is rare and really adds value to the product.All in all, this doorbell cam is a fantastic investment — excellent value, no subscription, solid features, and top-notch support. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, budget-friendly smart doorbell solution!

This is a great system. The doorbell is very easy to install, with the base attaching to the door and the unit clipping onto the base. The receiver needs plugging in, but it doesnt need to be too close to the door. You get a choice of using the internal storage (free) or Cloud storage (chargeable). The connection to the mobile phone was easy and the app gives a clear view from the door cam. Answering the doorbell from the mobile is easy and communication with the visitor is good, although a little quiet if they are not close to the camera. The door bell battery (of not hard wired) lasts for several month and is very quick and easy to recharge (you need to remove the unit from the base - remember to turn off the anti theft warning on the phone!!!).Customer service from AOSU is second to none. The emails are replied to quickly in a professional and friendly way and any questions answered in full with lots of help and advice if you ned it.Overall, great value for money compared to other similar systems, easy to install, easy to use and backed by great customer service.
