It worked for the first 3 passes on my grill grate, then the wires started twist around, which made it impossible to use properly. I ended up returning it.Update: I was contacted by Kanbrook's customer service and co-owner, offering to send me a new grill brush free of charge, even though I returned the last one. I accepted happily! Because of that I changed my review. I will update again, once I have tried the new brush!

I have DCS grill. It is tough to grates. Still have to use cleaning chemicals and this to get it clean. Then i found the grill mat, less cleaning . The product itself is good product, used it 4 times since purchased. The bristles are good quality , just wish the made it more fuller. Once use the bristle tend to bend or flatten out.

Stainless steel grill brush is a silly name for this device, it should be called "The CARBON slayer 5000 magic wizard tool, awesome maker". True story: I've only needed to use this brush once. My grill was pretty nasty as it had sat for many months and had been sprayed with some flame retardant chemicals (not my fault, had a house fire while I was at work). So nasty was an understatement. I opened the top of the grill and it was like an oppressive shadow of charred carbon attempted the pull the very soul from my body, the pain behind my eyes was like the burning of a million tiny suns. However like that movie with the lightning scarred wizard fighting that snake guy. The grill brush acting under its own power, filled my whole backyard with a golden light and banished that evil carbon shadow. I s*** you not, a centauracorn, simply popped into existence as the golden light receded back into the grill brush. I know what you're thinking, "that was just a normal everyday centaur". I would have thought that as well except it had a two foot horn growing out of the top of its head. Not only does nothing seem to stick to my grill anymore (really it's spotless no matter what I grill on it). But now the centauracorn (I named him Giggles because he keeps telling me unfunny puns whenever I go outside to grill) is guarding my backyard. The HOA doesn't like it but there is nothing in the bylaws about centauracorns so at least until the next HOA meeting all is well.TLDR: Get this grill brush it will change your whole damn life, or get two and dual wield. Just respec into it you'll be fine.

I just bought new porcelain grates for my bbq, and needed a brush that was designed to not scratch or chip the finish. After almost pulling the trigger on a well rated a little bit cheaper brush I noticed this one by Kanbrook. Went to read the one negative review (One 2* the rest 4 and 5s) and the complaint was completely valid, had to do with the strength of the handle (or lack thereof). A representative of the seller responded saying they improved the build and would replace her brush free of charge. This is what sold me on this brush, going out of the way to make sure the paying customer was happy.We are only talking about an item that is less than $20, but with a seller that wants to make sure everyone is happy with his or her purchase.So on to the actual performance. I have to this point only used it one time, but was really surprised with how easy the caked on stuff came off. I hardly had to put any force into it. The only trouble I had was with one little spot, but I'm sure it would had been the same with any brush. I have a grill daddy brush that I used with my original grates. While it seems like the grill daddy was rated safe to work with porcelain, the wires on that brush (to me) seemed a little too stiff.I highly recommend this brush.

I bought this brush back in September 2014. It worked well enough, but lately the bristles have been falling out and the pommel that holds the leather loop fell out. I bought it with a lifetime guarantee so I contacted the seller Lexicarta, expecting a easy exchange/replacement process. Instead the seller told me the exact brush I bought is out of stock permanently so they would do nothing, the new brushes they sell are the same but with a one year warranty. I just spent almost an hour with two different Amazon customer service representatives. The first one told me to contact the manufacturer and deal with it on my own, IE get lost. The second one eventually helped me deal with the issue after spending 20+ minutes doing "research" about the problem. Very disappointed in the seller Lexicarta and Amazon for making me go through all these hoops for a brush.

I purchased this grill brush based on very favorable reviews on AMAZON. I have been using it until last week. It cleaned grates great based on the supplied instructions by Kanbrook. However, this week, the entire top separated from the base making it useless. I am sure Kanbrook will see my review and step up to the plate to replace it as soon as possible. This is a very good brush for cleaning the grill but definitely can use a longer handle especially when cleaning over a 'hot' fire.Kanbrook stepped up to the plate!! WOW, the Guarantee isn't just something to read. This company is amazing in the way they follow up with customers. John, the owner, apologized profusely for letting my comments slip through but was quick to respond with a new brush. I recommend Kanbrook for their commitment to the quality of their product. Again, only thing I would recommend is a longer handle with a more durable fitting at the top. Could this be achieved with a more sturdy attachment at the top of the collar? Might be too pricey, but that's my suggestion.Thanks for your great follow-up.Capn K

I bought this for my husband, and he likes it fine. It works great, and he uses it a lot, as he BBQ's often. I will update this post in a year to say how it has held up. I only gave it 4 stars, as my husband said he doesn't 'love' things like this, but he DOES like it a lot! Good leverage with the longer handle, too.
