In retrospect, I should have taken pictures. I bought a baking steel months ago and didn't do anything with it. when I looked at it recently there was rust on it. I put it overnight in white vinegar, and ordered this scrub brush. The next day, it scraped away the rust so easily! Thank you! It was like a heavy duty chain mail attached to a really comfortable handle. I love this.

Rust resistant, durable, sturdy, made well, nice grip handle and placement tray, oh, looks nice too! Seriously, I like the way it gets the crusty bits out, even around the corners. Even purchased one for a friend for Christmas, and she loves it too. I also purchased for us both, the flax seed oil to put on after cleaning.

Cleaned up the surface of the pan without removing much of the of the seasoning. Great fit in the hand.

We have cast iron skillets and a flat top for the grill, and we use them all the time. If you have them you know it’s important to clean them correctly. I have tried other scrapers and they just don’t work well and hard on your hands. We tried the Herda cast iron cleaning brush and were very pleased. The brush has a heavy plastic handle which sit on your had very well. The woven chain looks to me indestructible, but what I like best is the design of the brush the edges are tapered so you can get into the corners of the pan and the flat top. This is very helpful when cleaning those areas makes the whole job go smooth + your hands stay clean. The chain is stainless so it won’t rust and when you’re done, pop it in the dishwasher. Denny

If you have cast iron cookware, this is must have for cleaning them! Absolutely love it! We only use cast iron cookware and this has saved so much time cleaning them! Great product! Highly recommend!

I had been looking for a chainmail product to clean my Made In carbon steel and cast iron pans. This is the best product I have found. These pans need cleaning with only water to maintain their integrity. High heat cooking creates a cleaning challenge. Getting the pans clean without scratching the pan is key. The handle allows leverage that other products do not. And cleans easily.
