I was hesitant about purchasing this product due to some of the bad reviews but I’m glad I decided to buy it. I’ve read and watched reviews of people who say that this product smells awful but it smells like chocolate pudding and I think it smells good. Better than the Maui Babe Browning Lotion which smells like straight soy sauce. I haven’t had the chance to use it while tanning yet but i did rub it onto my hand to test and it blends in to the skin really well and gives a natural glow. It doesn’t look orange or make you look 5 shades darker just after applying. I washed it off with just water and it didn’t stain my skin at all. I am excited to try it out in the sun and see if it enhances my tan at all. I don’t tan easily so if it doesn’t work I won’t be upset, but if it does I will be amazed! I never write reviews but I feel like this one deserves one because I already like this product a lot and even if it doesn’t enhance my tan it will still be nice to have a bronzy glow when laying out. My package did not come busted or leaking like some of the pictures. I am beginning to think that these reviewers are getting products from a different seller and not the actual Sun Bum amazon store because I haven’t had any of the issues that people are talking about. If you are considering buying this, do it!

Been using this tanning lotion for years it works great never greasy and it was a great price!

I purchased this before I was headed to an island in the Caribbean that required Reef Compliance sunscreen. I do not normally use sunscreen because of the carcinogens that they have in them, but since it was the Caribbean, I knew I needed something. I put this lotion on 2-3 times per day and I was in the water everyday of the trip, 7 days. I never burned but I did get a beautiful brown tan. Since returning home, I have used it every time I have gone to the pool, still no burn but a great skin color. The lotion smells amazing and I love it. Will only purchase this in the future.

Great tanning results. Only thing very messy and will color your suit brown. But does wash off.

I have never used any type of "tanning" products before and felt so safe trying this as my first. Im very pale and struggle most summers getting a visible tan, but this stuff really helped. I was able to get a super good tan line using this product and will continue to use it. It has a slight smell but it isnt bad, I would describe it as choclate but its not noticable at all.

This product gets 3 stars only because I didn't realize it is literally brown. Not meant for pale white skin like mine. It is brown in color, so a brown skin could use this product. Again, this is not a white lotion. This is a brown colored lotion.

I love the subtle smell of chocolate and how easily it glides over your skin. As far as the bottle, it doesn't leak and is easy to dispense. I also like that it is clear and you can see how much is left. Once the lotion is on my skin it doesn't feel like an icky sunscreen. I do find that it will transfer a bit but washes out easily.
