I was on my last bit of the Hero Sunscreen that comes in in the orange pump bottle. I got it on clearance at CVS for a couple bucks because I wear SPF on my face daily so always pick up any I find for a deal. I really liked this spf and loved the glow it gave my skin so I came to Amazon to repurchase. I found they had a redness reducing version of it, and decided to try it because I have also been in the market for something to bring down my natural redness when I go without makeup. I read others reviews mentioning it not being as effective as hoped for erasing redness as well as it pulling too white of people. What I have found is that the redness reducing isn't instant. It takes a few minutes. It isn't drastic but it definitely reduces redness. As well as the white cast. It will even out after a few minutes. I like this one just as much as the orange one I have used previously. I really have enjoyed everything I have tried from this brand.

This is looking like it's going to be one of my main spf's to use in my morning routine. It is dimethacone free which means for me my makeup sits over it very well with no pilling or seperation. It has a green tint that does slightly help the redness on my face, it has a very minimal white cast which disappears in less than a minute once it soaks in. If you catch it when it is on sale definitely stock up but even if you don't it is well worth the $20.

Love it, my oily face loves it too and doesn’t make it greasy. But warning it leave a white cast.

My all time favorite sun screen! Clean ingredients, light weight, and leaves no white residue. A good sun screen is the most important part of a skin care routine, it’s worth spending the money on.

I love this sunscreen for everyday use on my face. I have dry, acne prone skin and most all the other sunscreen makes my face either oily or more dry. But this sunscreen to wear daily and it doesn’t leave any white cast

I’ve been searching for a light-weight mineral sunscreen and thought I’d give this a try.Before I get into my thoughts, I just want to preface that these are just my own experiences and how I feel as using it as a person with combination rosacea-prone skin. Others may have success with this product and I think that’s great!(Here are my thoughts!)1.) Re-application Makes You Look CakeyAs far as sun protection goes, it seems to serve its purpose… The first application is definitely light-weight, however… when you reapply throughout the day, it cakes on and makes you look extremely pale — which is saying a lot as someone who’s pale as a snowflake.If you have dark skin, this situation may not be ideal for you at all.2. The SmellI can’t stand the smell… indoors it’s not as noticeable but when you step outside and a breeze hits your face, it’s ALL you smell. Ugh.3.) PackagingThe packaging kind of sucks! The pump doesn’t work very well and it’s difficult to get the correct amount of product that you need.4.) Sensitive Skin FriendlyI will say, one good thing that this sunscreen has is that it did not irritate my sensitive rosacea-prone skin.(Conclusion)I probably won’t purchase again, but it might work well for others. I recommend going to Target (the skincare section) and buying the trial sized version first just to see how it works for you before committing!
