Good product with sufficient zinc protection. Nice minty taste/scent. Typical whiteness when applied but goes away when rubbed in a bit.

I really like this zinc based lip balm. It does what it says— I used to have very dry, chapped and sun burned lips. Not now! It does have some drawbacks— gets hard in the cold, too soft when it’s hot; is like wearing white lipstick, and has no flavor— but I live with those because it’s so effective. I wear it all year and am very happy with this product.

The applicator has 1/5 of the product remaining when it becomes useless.

I've been suffering from cold sores for a few years that are triggered by the sun. This is the only product that has protected my lips completely! I like to vacation on sunny beaches a few times a year and I thought that I would have to stop or at least never see sun on my face again. I am forever grateful that this product exists! It goes on white but quickly melts to mostly clear and stays on for a long time even under water. I still apply frequently when I'm in the sun though just to be safe. The formula melts quite a bit in the applicator when it's in the heat so you can't use it like a usual twist up applicator but I love this so much that is the least of my worries! I just bought 6 of them so I have them everywhere and my vacations have never been more enjoyable. THANK YOU WAXHEAD!!!

The product is hard and chalky and as a result doesn’t glide onto your lips easily. In fact I found I have to remove some balm with the edge of the lid and then soften it with my fingers and apply that way. If it try to glide the balm across my lips very little balm is deposited and it just hurts and tears. Maybe the product would benefit from some lubricating natural oil added.I do like the fact the block is high level SPF as I have had precancerous lesions on my lips (actinic keratosis). The zinc oxide which is in this product, is known to be excellent at deflecting harmful UV rays.

I was looking for a high quality aftersun lotion with clean ingredients. I noticed the raw organic shea butter, so decided to get it. I've used it three times after being on the boat all day, and it really makes my skin feel smooth and moisturized, without being too greasy. It doesn’t really have a scent either. I've even started using it as a foot cream, and it actually helped my cracked skin on my heels. So glad I found this!!
