Good value but not great.
I have to agree with most of the reviews about these boots. They are roomy, I have wide feet and bought my usual size and I can wear thick socks with no problem. They are a pretty good design with lace up and side zip which makes for easy fitting, but they are cheap boots. Small thing but the laces are to long and dirt cheap. My boots are not made identical, one is slightly slopping to the side. And the sole is glued on, and doesn't seem to be done all that well. Having said that, for under £30 the cost of so.e better laces and a pair of gel insoles and some waterproofing,if the last me 6 months as motor cycle boots I would consider them a good deal. They are not sold as motorcycle boots and are not constructed as such but appear to be tough enough for the job.I will update this review in a few months with further updates on construction and longevity. But for now I'm happy with this purchase and I would buy again if they last 6 months. Buy your normal size, plenty of room in these.

BUY THESE BOOTS! You won’t be sorry.
OMG - I paid less than £25 for these thinking if they didn’t last I wouldn’t be out too much but jeez…not only do they have ample room for my wide feet unlike other boots (which mess my feet up by rubbing or pinching in some spot or other) but they almost feel like you’re walking barefoot, without the vulnerability. Light, durable, COMFORTABLE, my feet have never been so free in a boot. Most that I buy split across the sole - no sign of that as they’re so flexible. Sometimes they split at the outer edges of the ball of my foot - no sign of that cos they’re flexible! Waterproof, mud proof, I wore them in the snow with one pair of sock and my feet were perfectly warm. I wear them all day every day at work and they’re extremely comfy. Light too, so no effort to wear. Absolutely a great buy, brilliant VFM, I’ll definitely be buying again.Edit - bought a second pair. As predicted, where I wore them all day, every day for work and I walk A LOT, I wore through the right sole (small split) but that’s extremely high wear for months and months, so they’d easily last a year or more with average usage. I didn’t need to think twice before clicking ‘buy this again’.

Durability
Turn up very quick, got these for my son as he is a Cadet, but not in any form of box so the left boot was crushed. the toe cap is now deformed. Very soft leather, don't think they will stand up to much.

What you see advertised is not what you get. *UPDATED*
In the photos these look like a pretty solid boot.On arrival (which was quick in fairness) I was astounded at the lightness of the package. I thought I’d got a pair of slippers! The pair only weigh about 1lb or 500g.Glued together shoddily. Glue is the only thing holding them together. The laces are probably the strongest part of them. I’m using them to wear around the house as high slippers as they won’t last long outside and don’t even thing of doing any work in them.Take a look at the pic where they can be squashed up in the hand like a pair of slippers. This is indicative of the actual quality of them. There’s probably about 75p of material in these things. They’re a joke. Not worthy of being called a boot. I have stronger bedroom slippers. And as for being waterproof? Ha ha that’s all I’ll say.UPDATE UPDATE UPDATEWORN 3 TIMES AND THE WHOLE INSIDE HAS COME AWAY!!!I’ve hit glued them to put them back together and chucked them in a bag for the local charity shop. Someone may be able to use them as slippers around the house.APPALLING!

First class boots
All depending what you will use boots for , I wanted a higher boot . Because with my shorter boots if I'm on my lathe , I would always get metal cuttings inside the boot . So these ones are perfect, with the side zipper it makes it so easy to put them on and off . For the price you can't go wrong . Please don't think they are a safety boot there not . Very comfortable to wear you forget you have them on . My old boots I couldn't wait to get them off , so with new boots I'm quite happy to keep them on for hours once in the house .good seller great product.

Perfect for motorcycle commute
These boots for me solve the lack of foot control problem on motorcycle gear usually due to thick leather and stiffness usually found on them. In my situation these are perfect, reasonable ankle protection and how waterproof is not really a concern for me. Nice and lightweight so walking in them is very comfortable with good sizing. Having a zip is a big win and the price, well I can't recommend them highly enough. Value for money probably hard to beat, as for other applications like security and more walking I couldn't say but at the price I paid it's a really good value bargain.
