I’m in love with this NKJV Woman’s Study Bible! I always wanted to get me a study bible, but they are so expensive. So when I say this I was like this is my time to get it! The hardcover design is stunning, and the full color layout makes the pages feel special and different. The font size is just right. It is big enough to read comfortably but not so huge that it feels bulky. The pages are a bit on the thin side, typical for a study Bible, but they hold up surprisingly well. My favorite part is the devotionals, notes and articles are so insightful, encouraging, and perfect for digging deeper during quiet time. If you’re looking for a beautiful, readable, and soul nourishing Bible, this one is a gem!

I truly love this Bible—it’s such a beautiful and empowering tool for women on their spiritual journey. I bought one as a gift, and it was well received. I decided to get another for myself. I like the NKJV version, and the layout of this is quite nice. The print is described as comfort print, and I have to admit, that is my only disappointment. It is small, and without reading glasses and a bright light, I cannot read it. The same goes for the friend I bought it for. So be aware of that. For a study bible, the overall size is quite nice, and with large print, it would probably be too heavy and too big to carry with ease. Some have mentioned this bible is incomplete; I will update my review if I should spot anything off like that. For now, out of the box and skimming through, it's a lovely bible.

MacArthur study bibles are some of the best references out there for mere mortals (non-theologians) that desire to study the Word in a single volume. Study bibles provide a modicum of reader resources adjacent to the biblical text, providing assistance without you having to lug other books around with you in addition to the bible. MacArthur’s annotations are often characterized as a collection of his sermon notes (they largely are) more than they represent an exhaustive concordance (they are not), but for my purposes that’s fine. If I want to dive deeply or pursue chain references, I can always go to a separate concordance or other resource. This printing has a rich dark blue mock leather cover with a subtle scripted "M" on its face. That’s a huge improvement over the distracting "MacArthur" name emblazoned on a number of other MacArthur study bible printings. One of the best aspects of this particular printing is that it appears to be about half the price of nearly all the other MacArthur study bibles printings having identical features. I can’t tell why that is, but I’ll take it. It’s interesting that the hardcover SKU is billed as a "women's bible" but this softcover printing makes no such differentiation. It doesn’t seem any more directed toward women than men. Pick one of these up while they are still available at a bargain price.

I love the explanations at the bottom to summarize everything. I also enjoy reading about the various women in the bible. Easy to read. I would recommend this to someone else but get the NIV. I feel like we're used to seeing KJV, but in reality, get whatever version speaks to you the best. I don't talk or sound like Shakespeare (even though I enjoy talking in a British accent lol) so I should probably get a version I most resonate with. But to each is own.

I gifted myself this bible for my birthday and I don't regret a dollar. Very colourful and easy to read with lots of additional information to boost your understanding. Value for money
