Great easy little kit
Great little kit, extremely easy to solder and rewarding to see it light up when it's done. Took more time to set up my soldering station than to solder this up. 10/10 little project, great for learning.

Easy kit, good for beginners
While there were no printed instructions included in the kit, its easy enough to put together that isn't really issue (just remember the longer leg on the LEDs are positive). One light was missing from the kit I ordered though. Good for a beginner's first or second project overall.

Expensive, broken pieces (poor packaging), defective USB-C Port
First order came in with bent pins and broken piecesSecond order had a DIFFERENT power port (usb-C instead of microUSB) and the port wasn't soldered, and after soldering correctly it didn't deliver any power from a reliable USB-C power.So now i'm out $25 for a silly LED board I barely wanted.

You're only installing the LEDS
Nice quality PCB. Dip switches are good quality. PCB is clearly printed. You are only installing the LEDS though. Would be better if you assembled the entire board rather than just the LEDs so you can practice SMD soldering AND through hole soldering. A great beginner kit otherwise

Great teaching aid
This a great gift to start learning how to solder. Overall it’s a wonderful teaching aid on Ohms Law.
