Not for evrybody
Great product for serious door frames. But if you have decorative molding around door instead of a 6-8 inch wood frame, may have a problem. Great product for the right house. Not sure I’d give the instructions a B+. I think they are great for a pro.

Wow...this closer adjusts perfectly. You can adjust latch speed, closing speed and also adjust it stronger or easier.

Good quality
As a facility maintenance manager I've bought and installed many door closers. This one is worth the money. Superior quality, tunability and longevity, including on some heavy large doors with frequent traffic. Be sure to tune it after install. It comes with the power valve fully closed. The instructions are clear for install and tuning.

Reasonably priced commercial door closer!
In every business I have managed for the last 36 years I have had multiple experiences with this type of product. During all those years I think I have either replaced or fixed only 2 or 3 of them. They do seem to last forever. I do not see why this one would not...It seems very well made. I ordered this one (along with another set) for a commercial building I'm planning for the near future. These seem easy to install (I will do on an aluminum frame) and to adjust.

Working Well
I've only just installed this door closer on my steel fire door (workshop environment) and it's working well. I don't see any obvious design flaws in this closer -- when installing, just gotta take some extra time to get the holes just right when you drill or tap.Comes with hardware but I ended up using my own given my older door and the way I wanted it to look. Pulls the door closed and that's what matters.
