Saved my family's life last night!
These literally save my family's life last night. I am a researcher and when we built our home 2 years ago I insisted on getting these. Last night the power went out and our professionally installed generac kicked on and was running all night. We awoke around 5am to the beep of carbon monoxide detectors all over the house. A thick fog had moved in around our home and was holding the fumes in. I got the family safely outside and began opening windows. As I went I saw on the easy readout that the worst room was my oldest sons room. Were it not for this product, we would have been a news story about another family who died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Get these... They saved my family's life!!

Easy installation and programming.
The alarms were easy to synchronize with each other, and 3 different combinations were needed, for my application. They were rather easy to install; however I needed to cover the electrical boxes after I removed the older units, that were electrically hardwired. There are no mounting holes to mount on to the electrical boxes, so some of the new holes were barely able to clear the box openings. It would also help, if the screws were longer, since there was a wood joist that was above the sheetrock and the plastic anchors weren't able to sit flush with the surface. The longer screws would have no detrimental effect even in the hollow areas of the ceiling or walls. 14 were installed at 1 project location.

Excellent smoke dectors. Worth the price.
Easy to install and test. This is our second purchase for two different homes. Love that the battery lasts 10 years, easy to test and gives sense of security because it is smoke and carbon monoxide testers. Definitely recommend because when one goes off, they all go off LOUDLY.

Good quality, i like that the battery ones last for 10 years without changing the battery! We also added 3 hard wire ones without any issues. Good value for the costs.
