Ometa Pure 12L/Day Dehumidifier for Damp, Condensation, Mould & Mildew with Digital Humidity Display, 24 Hour Timer, Auto & Sleep Mode & Laundry Clothes Drying Mode, Continuous Drainage White

We have had de-humidifiers for years and needed to replace our old unit used upstairs. At this time of year we use 1 unit to reduce moisture in the bedrooms and 1 unit downstairs. We use them during really cold weather, wet / humid weather, for drying laundry, or when we are not using heating for prolonged periods.We have used our Ometa Pure throughout every night since receiving it on 7th October 2022, we have run it 24/7 during rainy days. We leave all of the doors open upstairs, this smart, compact, good looking, quality little work horse of a unit serves to reduce moisture and condensation in our bedroom, most noticeably it removes moisture from windows and walls, but it also makes the whole room feel fresher, healthier and more airy. It obviously protects us and our belongings in our bedroom, but it also manages to reduce moisture across a small landing and through 2 further upstairs rooms. There is obviously some sound emitted from it during running but isn't annoying and it doesn't disturb our sleep. There is also a sleep mode option for reduced fan and sound, this setting reduces energy costs further, making it even more cost effective, and giving a little extra control over energy usage. It is more energy efficient than any of our previous units, even when running on full power and the option to set humidity levels is useful too. We have found the Ometa Pure to be the smartest, most effective de-humidifier we have used, it is an amazing product for its compact size.We did have some confusing issues with delivery of the unit regarding tracking and updates, but we had no problems contacting the courier by phone. The issue was quickly resolved.Post purchase we received a pleasant surprise letter from Home Electrical to ensure we were happy with our purchase and offering after sales support for if a problem should arise.We are very happy and satisfied with our purchase and would highly recommend the product and the seller.Update 22 Oct 23I have now purchased a 2nd one of these units. I am just as happy with this one as I still am with the first. The delivery of this dehumidifier was earlier than expected and much improved upon the previous delivery. The unit arrived well packaged and was quick to set up and get working. A compact little unit doing an efficient job, and also running very quietly as compared to several other branded previous units. There are no negatives and I would certainly buy again but with one unit running upstairs and one downstairs (for about 12 hours each per day) in our 3 bedroom house, we are happy that we have resolved any issues of damp.

This dehumidifier is very compact and reasonably quiet, I bought it specifically for drying laundry as it has a laundry drying function on it and it works very well, I had to empty the tank 2 or 3 times. It also moves easily as it’s on wheels. It has a timer function which is very convenient.

Easy to use dos the job very well. Very quiet. Down side electric cable not long enough. That's why only 4 stars

I bought this dehumidifier on recommendation from family members who have 2. It arrived really quickly but the plug was damaged. I contacted the seller via Amazon - seller responded immediately, was incredibly helpful told me exactly what I needed to do (send them photos and full details) and arranged collection (no charge) within a few days to suit me. They kept me up to date with emails and messages on the amazon app. I received the replacement a couple of days after collection of the faulty one. I’d give this seller 10 stars because it’s the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!I’m very pleased with the dehumidifier. It has a large water collection tank, with a carrying handle, which you can either lift out to empty, or attach a hose (included) to drain the water into another receptacle (I haven’t tried that yet).The machine is on castors so moves around easily.The instruction booklet is clear and also tells you where to position the machine for optimum efficiency.It’s extremely easy to use, with control buttons and logos on the top.I use it for clothes drying in the utility room so put it on the laundry setting.I live in an old, cold house so laundry that can’t be tumble dried was taking up to a week to dry in the utility room. With the machine, quicker to dry items will dry in a day (approximately 10 - 12 hour session), and thick, difficult to dry items 2 days (2 sessions of 10 - 12 hours).It is quite noisy but it’s out of the way so I don’t hear it in the rest of the house.It’s also heavy, but I would imagine it’s an average weight for a machine this size - as an average female, I found it quite difficult to get out of the box initially, and it’s very heavy and unwieldy if you need to carry it up/downstairs, especially as there’s no carrying handle (only on the water tank), just indentations in the side of the machine. I put it back into the box to manoeuvre it downstairs step by step (not easy!) Someone with more limited mobility would definitely need help to unpack and take it up or downstairs. But, it’s then really easy to move around on its castors.I highly recommend this dehumidifier both on the machine’s features and efficiency and on the brilliant seller!

Quiet & very efficient, I was shocked at how much water it draws out of the air!I use it in the bathroom & sometimes to help dry clothes indoors, very effective!

Fantastic, though relatively small in size, it really works! Extracts lots of humidity in attic bedroom, makes little nouse, seems well-designed: neat, easy to carry, eminently portable.Will be used a lot.

Had a major damp problem in our 2 bed apartment and within 2 days this solved it. No more condensation on windows and for the first time in a year no mould on the walls, even the washing drys in a day and not a week now. Best value for money I’ve spent

This is very virtually the same as my other one with a different btrand name on it. Exact same specification and works OK. Slight variation in top vent moulding shape is the only visible difference. If anything this one is very slighty noisier, not sure if it's the fan or compressor. It was cheaper by about £20-30 than the last one, so maybe the quality has been dumbed down over the 2 years time difference? Happy enough as long as it goes for at least 5 years+ and keeps taking water out of the air... Time will tell. My only beef is that the smallish 2L tank can require emptying nearly every day or 2, which is a pain if you have nowhere to set up the self-draining facility.
