Black Nickel Pipe Lighter

I love these lighters nothing else will light my Peterson

I will be honest, I do really love this lighter, but it simply isn't worth the extreme cost. I have had this lighter for a long while and when it is filled with fluid, the flame is very large, no matter what setting you have it on. It can't keep a consistent flame size over repeated uses. I am sure that is a byproduct of lowering pressure from the fuel, but at this price point, I would have assumed they could figure out that issue. I also could have sworn this was supposed to come with a built in tool for tamping/picking but it definitely doesn't.

Had high hoped for this considering it’s a $90 freaking lighter but in under a month the flint wheel has failed and the spring for the flint has come apart from the screw. Less than a week in and it continually fails to light on the first or second try. Not happy with this lighter at all. 👎🏻

The best pipe lighter I've owned yet. When I first bought it a screw in the flint assembly started to back out and even with a micro-screwdriver of the correct size it was difficult to screw back into place without bunging up the screw head. It still sticks out more than it should but has been secure ever since. This lighter is not wind proof or even wind resistant. It is, after all, a gas flame, though a nice, reliable one. If you smoke outdoors, you'll still need a zippo pipe lighter, too. The tank size is great abs doesn't seem to leak like every other similar lighter I've owned. The one downside I've noticed is that the flint spring might be a little low powered and once you've used a half to three quarters of a flint, striking becomes unreliable. Overall, this lighter is a pleasure to hold and use and the only time it really let me down was when it forgot to remind me to put it in my pocket one day.

OK, this thing is a God-send. After getting back into pipes after a few years, I wanted a lighter. I was caught between a few bands, but something kept pulling me back to this one. The black nickel is understated (just want I wanted). It produces a very nice flame with two small jets instead of one. Filling it easy enough, and I have yet to run out; although, I tend to refill it rather regularly. I really, really like this thing.

I loved my lighter and used it for about a year before it started leaking. I leaks with the cap down unless you push it or hold it down. It leaks from the output valve. I don't know if it is caused by the valve, or by the cap not pushing down enough. You can hear it hissing.

This is a high quality lighter, lights first strike and I think its even nicer than the Old Boy of which I have had three. Pricing is awesome to boot.
