These motion closet lights are awesome!!For some reason, the builders didn't put a light in the 2nd bedroom walk-in closet! The light in the bedroom isn't very bright either, so you couldn't hardly see in the closet.We tried a couple of other lights (as you can see from the double sided tape still on the walls and the one on the back of the door) but they were lights that had to be turned on and off and my boys would turn them on and forget to turn them off. Batteries aren't cheap so we just stopped replacing the batteries.With these new lights, they are rechargable and only turn on when you step just inside the door and shut off when you leave. We've had them about a month now and I still haven't had to recharge them. They are hung using Velcro, so you just pull them off when it's time to recharge them.My picture isn't the greatest but it shows how we have put them up in the closet. I have one just inside the door on both sides that way they only turn on when someone walks into the closet. I did this because sometimes the boys will leave the closet door open and I didn't want the lights coming on when movement was detected in the bedroom, I only want them coming on when movement is detected in the closet.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These worked really well as far as providing light to my closet area where my jewelry is stored. They are very bright and they do charge and I really enjoy the motion sensor on them. The thing that motivated me to give this item three stars is the sticky strip provided with the lights that uses a magnet to mount them. The magnet is a great idea because it allows you to take the strip off in order to charge it, but the plastic strip that guards the sticky surface on my lights was malfunctioned. I don't know if it was the weather or not but I could not get the strip off to save my life. And it wasn't because I could not get the corner up or didn't do it right. I tried, my fiance tried, will you tweezers and eventually my fiance tried to use his teeth to tear it off but the protective strip was bound to the sticky surface which rendered the magnet obsolete. Instead of returning the item I chose to use Gorilla Tape to stick the lights to my closet. It worked fine but now I have to do that every time I take them on and off in order to charge them which is a bit annoying. If it weren't for the flaw in this sticky strip I would have given this item five stars.

Update 10-25-19: I don't recommend hanging the light where I did, on the wall beside the door frame. It comes on okay, but it doesn't stay on because it can't see me moving unless I'm directly in front of it. Having only 18-20 seconds to rummage in the closet is not enough, and it is a huge annoyance to keep waving at it. I'm ordering more LED rechargeable lights, but I'm making sure they stay on for at least 60 seconds, and I'm finding a better place to hang them.These are very bright and light up the closets well within their range. I didn't like the light on a side wall because they are so bright they bother my eyes. I couldn't put them over the top of the door frame because that would have left the bottom of the closet dark. I put them on the wall beside the door frames, which works pretty well, but I have to keep waving my hand in front of them to keep them on long enough. The modification is that I used Command strips so they could be moved if needed. These closets are not used much, so I expect the lights to last a very long time. Next, I will either order another set so I can place one horizontally or I'll order round ones to see if they cast a wider light.

I would give these a 5 star if the battery lasted a bit longer.These lights are actually quite awesome. I put these under my cupboard to light up my kitchen in the dark. We are night owls and I dont like to use my actual kitchen light because I always forget to turn it off. So we rely on these lights often.I was worried about the motion sensitivity. With it being under a cubbard, I didnt want to have to wave my hand under it to turn on. I am very please with what I got. I can actually be within a good 2-3 feet away to light my kitchen. It also goes off when the dogs walk by to.I do enjoy these. They do dim obviously when battery is running low.With my heavy use out of it, I wish the battery would last longer. I charge these about once a week. They stay strong for a good 3 days and then start to dim.The charge takes about 2 hours to be 100%I plan in buying more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The motion sensor did not work on either of the lights and one of the lights began strobing after the second or third use. Nowhere near as bright as closet lights I have bought previously. The adhesive was pretty strong, took some effort to peel it off the shelf it was mounted on so I could put it back in the box and return it for a refund.

I ordered 2 of these lights. They're both temperamental but one hardly works at all.The good one took 20 minutes to charge which I thought was great. The other one took over 4 hours.The good one recognizes movement about 80% of the time. The other about 20%.They are much smaller than you might think so it has to be a pretty dark area for these to make a significant difference.I'm keep the one and have to go to the pain in the butt of returning the other.

Needed them for under counter lighting in my kitchen where I am unable to plug lights in. Much brighter than the puck lights I am replacing. The motion detection reaction is quite slow, you have to be in just the right place. Once you figure out the sweet spot, it works great. I used command strips to adhere to my cabinet so I can’t speak to the adhesive that comes with the package. I may add 1 more LED strip with double the lights in it for the other darn corner in the kitchen.

I like these things... maybe too much. My friends are telling me to shut up about them already... but their closets are dark, so what do they know right?All of the OxyLED stuff I've ordered has been great! Buy these things because they are awesome.Seriously. They are bright, they are easy to use, they come with magnets for mounting, they're a good solid product, they hold a charge for a decent amount of time and they recharge with the same cord most phones and electronics use. But, mostly, they just do a fantastic job of lighting up spaces that need it without any hassle and fuss. OK. I'll shut up now.P.S. For bigger spaces, the longer ones are even better!

I have been using a set of these in my closet for the last 10 months. I really love them and thought I should share a 5 star review.They are pretty bright and the motion sensor works really well. I do wish they were a bit brighter and had a larger battery but its still very good as is. The color temp is quite cool, about 6000K which in the evening is a bit hard on the eye but looks good during the day. I am in and out of my closet many times a day and the battery last about 2 months before recharging with the included USB cable. The magnetic 3M mounting strips are excellent, love being able to easier remove them if I need to use them in another location for a bit. or for recharging.Over all a great 5 star product.
