The best cheap upgrade I've found so far
I bought this to upgrade the H4 style reflector headlight on a 1998 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle. Since my bike only has one headlight bulb I didn't need two of everything but that's OK - these are so cheap I expect a failure before too long so I'll carry the extra bulb and ballast as spares, and the original halogen bulb as well - in case the spares fail :-)No way was the ballast going to fit inside the headlight bucket so I bought an HID extension cable and mounted the ballast and relay box under the seat. That worked out pretty well. The fuse holder is junk, I threw it away and bought a better one from an auto parts store. The other bits were fine. The result was pretty good. The headlight is pure white and the beam pattern is decent, similar to the old halogen but brighter - in other words, an improvement. I've tried an LED bulb, LED projector bulb, and this HID - the HID is the first one that I plan to keep. One other thing - the original headlight turns off when cranking the engine, I assume to route all available current to the starter. I didn't think an HID would be happy having its warmup cycle interrupted during engine start so I wired it to always be on when the ignition is on, start button or no. The battery seems fine with it.Again, I expect failures because these are so cheap, but so far so good. If something breaks I'll be sure to update this review.

Lasted 1.5yrs...
Bright, easy install... but only lasted 1.5yrs. Checked for loose wiring/connections and they were all tight-- so concluded that a bulb burned out. I don't do a lot of night driving, so doubt it was from overuse. My first time using HID bulbs but would expect lifespan to be longer.

Very bright
Very nice HID kit. Great quality and very bright. I have projector headlights and I have tried LED bulbs but couldn’t see good at all. So I found this kit as it had good reviews and this kit didn’t disappoint at all!! I can see so much better! HID’s for the win!

HID lights
These lights are more white than the hint of blue I had before from the same company. I liked the hint of blue better my eyes are used to that now. The white light that this replacement is now is bright also but the hint of blue just helps more for me.

Good lights but there are a few quirks.
I got these as I was tired of the low beams on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 being next to useless. The installation wasn't as easy as I was led to believe but a few classes at YouTube University got me to the finish line.I didn't like that I had to drill a 15/16" hole in the back of my dust caps, but such is life.I got them installed in a few hours and noticed a major difference. I could actually see the road at night. In fact, these are so bright that my high beams now serve no purpose, and I get to bright light all the people who bright light me, without actually bright lighting them.I had a few issues following the week after installation. I noticed one day that my driver's side light wasn't working. After some diagnostics I discovered one of the plugs had come loose. I zip ties both sides together to remove that concern. The only other issue I've had was my right side headlight was flickering one day before going out completely. An hour later, it was back on and I've had no issues since.

Worked w modifications
This is a universal compatibility kit. I underestimated the time required to figure out how to make it work in 2004 es 330 lexus. It has barely enough seals to make it stay put in the socket and u may have to reroute some wires that dont need to go thru the gasket with the bulb but my brother had experience with similar kits so he helped me see it could work. Its been a week and its bright enough. Its the slightly blue color I expected. This is low beam replacement cause my high beams are halogens I can find for $10 at walmart. Smaller ballast than original. Thank goodness cause it barely fit where old one was. Seems to work well.

Cool upgrade
Did not work for my car in particular. 2016 Hyundai sonata sport with stock halogens. Neat kit with everything you need for install. Unfortunately did not completely work with my vehicle. Installed first bulb tested and worked great. Installed other side and they would not stay on. Overall quality seemed pretty good but the base of the bulbs seemed a little thin like you could easily break trying to install. Brightness was good once bulbs warmed up. If they did not require additional wiring or tweaking I would absolutely buy them again or try installing in a different vehicle.

Not to bright
Install was simple and straight forward. But that all depends on your skill. Have been using hid lights since the mid 2000's. These ones don't seam as bright as what I'm use to. This is the first 55w kit I have ran and they are not as bright as my old cheap 35w kit I used in the same type of car. The housing as new and certified as oem so not the cheap Chinese replacements. So that's not the problem. They still have much better throw than led lights which is what I wanted. Not sure if it's just cheap ballasts or the bulbs. But I might try some better ballasts later as I have found that's normally the reason for dim lights. Would be 5 stars if they were as bright as a 55w should be.

Not Bad, Expected More Though.
They look amazing in the photo but unfortunately they aren't even close that bright in real life.Being HID with a huge ballast I expected a bright crisp light with a strong cut off beam but my $30 LED's in my GTI are much brighter. Also on the first day one doesn't like to come on unless I turn the headlights off and back on.I've got a spare set of bulbs in my glovebox because I have little faith these are going to last long.

Not a a recommended product.
I installed these on my wife’s 2014 GMC Terrain and the install went well. The product is very straightforward and an easy install. After the install, I realized that they sent me two different color bulbs. (They are both supposed to be 5000k and came in the same box). Today, only 4 days after the install. One of the lights started flickering and then turned off on its own. It appears to be defective. The bulbs also didn’t come with the nice protective cap as shown in the picture. They came with a foam sleeve wrapped in plastic wrap. That was the first sign of questionable quality.
