60GB Hard Disk Drive for Xbox 360 Slim

I was one of the many who bought "Battlefield 4" without knowing that I couldn't play it on my 4GB XBOX - it needs a solid state hard drive, and can't play off of the built-in flash memory that's on the Arcade models. Needless to say, I was pretty angry (curse you, BF4 - it should say so on the front of the box in huge letters and not hidden on the back!). ANYWAY, I did a quick search and found this hard drive. Shipped with Prime, had it two days later, installed it in about thirty seconds, and got to playing. You just flip open a little compartment and slide it right into the XBOX. Couldn't be easier. Works great and have had no problems at all. Solved all of my memory needs and lets me play all of my games/music/video with ease.If you find yourself in a similar situation, this will be your end-all solution!

Hello this is brandon and to review this product all you really have to say is an amazing price for a hardrive that is the same as microsoft except 3rd party it comes configuired and ready to use order time was good the only problem i have is that if you have xbox live and you want to use this there is a chance that microsoft could issue an update that renders the HDDs useless so in saying that if that does happen your going to have to buy a new one so for the money its worth the risk for me but for anyone with a xbox without live your safe and this product is completly good to use but since microsoft wants to suck up every penny for themselves they might make these useless for xbox live users so i have a transfer cable just in case with an original xbox HDD to use for storage in case this does happen so i give this Hardrive a five out of five for lots of space to put movies install arcade games add ons etc etc... As with all new gen games for the 360 you'll have to have some sort of HD space to load the game on. I own a 4 gig 360 with a portable jump drive as my HD that I used to play GTA5 and BOPS2 with. I purchased Titanfall thinking I'd be able to do the same. Not the case. You'll need an internal HD for this game which I was not pleased to find out. Having to buy new accessories for an aging system really pissed me off.As for this HD. It worked perfectly for what I needed it to do. It’ll be shipped in suspicions looking packaging but don’t let that discourage you. Of course someone would be a little skeptical about buying a generic HD, but know this one is legit. Plug and play as soon as you get it home and out the box. Very much worth the price.

I ordered this with the standard 5-8 day shipping, was here in 2 days. Opened the box and popped it right in. No installation software required and started playing instantly. Not one issue with it! I saved a ton of money rather then buying from microsoft. Cost me only $45.99 compared to $120!! Very satisfied. It got a 4 out of 5 stars only because instead of having the full 60GB it only allows for 51.8GB, for the system items stored on it from the manufacturer which you cannot delete. This is more then acceptable and understandable, although it should be advertised information. But that is the ONLY thing I could possibly complain about with this outstanding product! The negative reviews that were posted is more than likely to due with console issues rather then the hard drive itself. Buy it!

I bought my son the Xbox 360 last year after our house was broken into. I bought a refurbished XBOX (as I was obviously looking for the best deal) that apparently did not have any memory/disk space. My son was upset because most of his games required the memory. I was surprised at the price difference between the XBOX 360 with memory and the ones without - so I did some research and was very excited to find this disk drive. It was still significantly cheaper then buying the XBOX with memory already installed. It was very easy to install (open a compartment and push it into place and it has never given us problems even a year later.

I own a xbox 360 4g and thought all games play on it, but when I got BF 4 and found out I needed harddrive I was very disappointed and thought I needed a better 360 or a harddrive that would cost me $100 and up. Went to amazon and found this 60g harddrive and was nervous about it getting it but after reading the reviews I said why not, and let me tell you what a difference in my 360!!! So simple to install and instantly your 4g is now 60G hey you can get even more G's but cost a lil more and I am on a budget so this was good enough for me, and now my BF 4 is able to play not mention need for speed the rivals game also requires it. Do yourself a favorite and if you are looking to upgrade and money is a issue this is your best option!!! And keep in mind fellow gamers be sure to check the back of the 360 games covers and check to see if harddrive is required because if it is you will need the harddrive for that game to be playable. Also now I can have more apps on my xbox and the arcade games xbox offers via without the disc it self. so much more room for your 360 to be more of a entertainment hub without worrying about space availability on your 360.

Should have made this review when i purchased it in january.I Got to play more of the games and expanded my xbox 360 experience that required more than the 4 GB xbox 360 that i have so that was a plus,but couldn't play the original Xbox games from the start which wasn't much of a loss i didn't buy it for the original games, and lately i have been having issues with the hard drive slowing down the xbox and not letting me into xbox 360 live, and saved games becoming damaged.But all in all i got what i wanted to get more space, recent issues lowered the score,

I placed my order on 9/24 in hopes of receiving my merchandise by 9/27, which also happens to be my sister's b-day... I am absolutely amazed at the fact that I actually received my shipment on 9/26 - one whole day early!!! Thank you for a great product & uber-fast shipping! And get this - my sister signed for the pkg too but it all worked out great. I was able to give her the gift at the stroke of midnight on her b-day, & not a minute too soon! p.s. - I also paid $3.99 for gift-wrapping for the first time ever... Thank you sooo much!!! That was the best $4 I've spent lately - what a time-saver for those who tend to push gift-giving to the very last minute!!!
