This was a great buy! They are sturdy. Easy to fill, and even full are easily carried. We stacked them three high as we bought several. Probably wouldn’t want to go much higher than that because of the weight on the lower, and ease of accessibility.

Not much to say about these. They arrived as expected with caps, spigots, and stabilizer all as advertised. Good strong quality. Stacks nicely. Thank you for making these available.

Water isn't just for weather-related emergencies - with the increasingly-fragile nature of our infrastructure, water line breaks and cut-offs will only become more common. The government recommendation of a gallon of water per person, per day, is laughably inadequate. This 40-gallon kit gives you enough extra water to flush toilets, cook and bathe for at least a week.The containers stack very well and seem secure - no teetering, no sign of leaks, etc. It is important to MAKE SURE you get the bung wrench with your order, that's really the only way to tighten down the lids and, more importantly, get them off. It's also important to buy the water treatment drops so you can fill these jugs up, treat the water, seal them and then effectively forget about them until you need them. The included spigot lids is an added bonus.

I like the weight of the containers, I like the accessories that are included, wrench, spigots, and stabilizer. I like the stack ability. What I do not like is the "tamper proof" ring on the caps. They just make using these so much more difficult, with no apparent benefit.

When the grid takes a holiday after a hurricane or blizzard, most people are completely unprepared. Those who are ready may have supplies of food, toilet paper, and a generator. But the overlooked factor could well be water supply. This is an excellent way to store water, especially if you don't have a lot of upper body strength to lift heavier items (40+ lbs. per container in this case). You can fill the empty cans in your storage area with a garden hose and screw on the tops, then stack another empty row on top and fill them. No exertion needed. Each comes with a spigot to make water access simply. Figure out how much water you might need each day for drinking, cooking, flushing, and a survival body wash and order accordingly.

These jugs are nice quality! Much better than some you find at big box stores.
