AMAZING monitor stand!!!
Very recently, I started upgrading all my computer and hardware supplies. After a while, I figured I should clean up all the clutter on my desk since my 2 monitors were taking up so much space along with my speakers. I quickly jumped on Amazon and immediately, this monitor stand came up with 5/5 stars! I generally trust Amazon reviews pretty well, so I ordered these in an instant (especially since the price is very good). I received the package very quickly. Now my ONLY complaint with this dual monitor stand is that it will require two people for MOST people (I managed to complete it solo, but it was difficult). I have a 22" monitor and a 24" flat screen monitor, but they are not lightweights. I attached the pole to my desktop first. I then attached my two monitors to the stand attachments (very easy and simple screw on attachments). It felt sturdy and I didn't have any fears of it falling. Now this is where the second person might come handy. Lifting the attachment with the dual monitor requires some strength. I made it more difficult by not moving my desktop out so I had more room. Combine those two together and you can see one sweaty guy trying to lift and maneuver the two monitors with the attachment onto a pole. Eventually I got them on. Adjusting the height and monitor was fairly simple. I managed to hide the cables and wire and in the end, everything looked amazing. You might want to use some zip ties to further hide the cables and wires as the included hooks don't really hide too much. Despite the somewhat inconvenient install, I couldn't be happier with the purchase. My desktop now has more space (which I now place my speakers there, which is cleanly hidden by my monitor).PROS:-Extremely sturdy-Easily adjustable-Can swivel in numerous directions-Very clean and makes a lot of desktop roomCONS:-Install requires some strength or maybe a second person-Be careful with over tightening!

Best clamp-on monitor stand available!
This is the best clamp-on (dual) monitor stand that is available, period. But why should you believe me? Because I've bought a lot of them, and installed a lot of them. Most of them (all of them, in fact, I think) were more expensive than this one, in many cases much more expensive. Some were downright flimsy. Others were constructed so that they damaged the desk or countertop when installed. None were anywhere near as adjustable as this one is. In short, this is the best product you can buy, regardless of cost. And as a bonus, it uses the least space behind the desk (literally, 1/16th of an inch) than any monitor stand (of the clamp-on variety) I've ever used or seen. It comes with all the hardware (tools) you'll need to install it, and is so well made that you don't feel apprehensive when tightening the screws onto the desk or countertop. The two-part construction means that the upright pole can be very easily installed first, before the side arms are attached; that process is very easy even in very tightly space-constrained environments where access to, say, the rear of the desk or countertop is limited. It only needs a few inches to get slipped over the back of the desk, and usually one can tip the desk or raise its back up from underneath (this would be a two-person job, obviously) so as to get it back there. Then the desk can be set back down or pushed back against a wall surface, and the upright column tightened onto the desk from below. The screws have eyes that the provided tool can be used as a lever to turn, and tighten easily, unlike other apparatus of this type which just has thumbscrews that you can't get anything into for leverage. The designers of this stand have thought of everything. Again, the fact that it is the most inexpensive clamp-on stand is just icing on the cake. I would gladly pay $100 (or more) for this stand, but it's nowhere near that expensive as you already know if you've gone to the trouble to read this review. Another advantage over most other stands I've seen/used is the height adjustment is greater than any other I've seen, except a few whose purpose was to be very, very tall. All of the movable parts can have their stiffness adjusted using the provided tool, so you can leave the arms very flexible (for a child or an older parent to be able to easily pull the monitor closer to their eyes, for example) or very stiff (for installations that need to have the monitors stay aligned and precisely where you put them). They even include the screws to attach the monitors themselves. Most other stands presume you're going to use the ones that come with the monitor, but many do not provide screws for VESA attachments because they use some cheaper, flimsy stand that usually just slips into a slot to keep the monitor upright. If you find anything wrong with this stand, I'd love to hear about it here (post a critical review). I cannot imagine anybody having any experience with this stand that could be interpreted as a shortcoming. It's as solid as a rock, exhibiting superior craftmanship (well painted, no sharp edges, strong screws and bolt holes, strong and sturdy upright and adustable arms). The stand can accomodate monitors that are at least 26" or possibly 27". The first two I got (I now have six) concerned me because my monitors at the time were bigger. But I need not have worried. I have no clue why they say "up to 24 inches." The seller needs to get out their measuring tape and get that figure right; I bet some customers have been put off buying this stand because they thought it would not accomodate their (wide) monitor(s).Just go ahead and buy it, OK?
