I used to use cream but now I am converted so shaving oil / syrup! This stuff rocks. I think you get a closer shave than with the creams and it doesn’t clog up your razor like creams do either. Less mess, too! I use a sugar scrub then shave my legs with this and they are extremely smooth!!

Feels good on skin and makes for a smooth shave but it's doesn't prevent bumps any better than other more affordable products.

This is hands down the best shave gel I have ever used. It has stopped me from getting razor burn completely, and works just as well on the legs as the face. It is also nicely moisturizing, and the scent is nice and fresh without being overpowering. I have tried every shave gel under the sun and this by far the best product I have found.

It does make your skin soft but I don't think it helps with a closer shave.
