There is two sides to this blanket. One side is very cool to the touch and feels like a super-sized microfiber glasses lens cloth. The other side is not cool to the touch, but is soft and lightweight. When folded, this blanket is heavy like a weighted blanket, but when spread out, it is lightweight. When making your bed, this blanket falls to the bed heavy and stays where you place it. I love this blanket for hot Florida nights because of its cooling breathability. I would not recommend this blanket to an elderly person due to how heavy it is to pick up and maneuver. If an elderly person placed the blanket on the bed then pulled each blanket corner to the corner of the bed one corner at a time rather than throwing it up in the air when making the bed, that might work.

This blanket is so comfortable! It's light weight and keep cool all night! The kids fight over it every night! Looks exactly as pictured.

Idk how it works but it does. I love this as a method to combat my night heat. It’s just a little small so I need to size up next time for sure.

Theirs blanket is absolutely fabulous!! I can’t believe that it actually DOES cool you off—while providing the slight weight of the security of a blanket while I sleep!!It is an absolutely gorgeous color!!But Best of all! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now—and I have 2 cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈!! It only took them about a week to start pulling threads, and punching holes in my old cooling blanket!! But NOT THIS ONE!! It is super durable and can stand up to their super sharp claws!! I only wish I would have gotten one size bigger!! This size works great for just me. But, I want a bigger one!!

I live in Florida - yes, I have AC, but some nights when it's still a heat index nearing 100 at 10 PM, bedtime can still be a bit uncomfortable. I have tried so many different sheets and blankets all to no avail. This blanket is unlike any other! It is so soft-so snuggly, but most importantly, it is SO cooling! It is helping me sleep through the night as I am not waking up due to overheating. Oh how I wish I had this when I was going through perimenopause! I've noticed that even my cat wants to lay on it! I do wish there were other pattern options, but as long as I'm staying cool at night this is my new favorite thing!UPDATE: After using this for a few months and after a few washings, it has sadly developed an all-over pill problem. Due to the fabric, the pills are so noticeable and you can feel them - I can no longer stand it against my skin.

I got the smaller one to try out and see if it actually works- and it does! While on a trip in the Colorado mountains (no air conditioning in the house, generally doesn't need it), one night was warmer than it had been and I was having difficulty cooling off enough to sleep. I covered myself with the blanket- cooling side on me- and it actually cooled me off! The only "complaint" (that's not really a complaint, just a taste issue) the color isn't as vibrant as the pictures show, but it's still pretty.

I looked at the blanket dimensions and thought it would be a bit wider than it is. That being said this is by far my favorite summer blanket and I’ve tried a ton. Oklahoma heat and humidity is no joke. This blanket is so soft and comfy but really is cooling and makes sleep much easier. I’m buying more colors!!

I absolutely love my cooing blanket.It is made out of a very light cool to the touch material.That keeps me comfortable when i'm sleeping. I am very protective over it so that my grandchildren don't use it or wreck it LO. L.
