I began sewing when I was ten-years-old in 4H, more than forty years ago. I was given this brand of needle as a gift about 25 years ago and have been hooked ever since. These rarely break, glide through the fabrics they are weighted for and have smooth eyes, easy on the thread and to thread. They were delivered quickly and have been my go to needles for decades. If you haven't used this brand give them a try, I think you will be very satisfied with the quality and durability just be sure to use the correct needles for the fabric style and weight you will be sewing for maximum satisfaction. Schmetz makes excellent needles and I truly doubt that I'll ever switch brands. As always, these needles are excellent quality and strength and get the job done remarkably well. Easy to load into my machine and the only time I've ever experienced an issue with one is when I missed a pin and bent my needle on it, which is 100% my own fault.
