I was so close to giving away the two Home Depot ceiling fans that I bought 4 years ago until I found these replacements. When I looked for them a couple years ago, there just was not the selection that there is now. These new led “discs” mount firmly with strong magnets and with connect with simple wire nuts. 20 minutes for the install and you have a light that’s 2x brighter AND with your choice of warm or daylight color. Excellent product! Highly recommend!

I installed this in a ceiling fan that had a halogen 100W light. The brightness is similar. I removed the old lamp hardware and fitted this LED unit with a few pieces of hardware into the housing. It took about 15 minutes to modify, not counting driving to the hardware store. It directly wires to a 120V source. No adapter or anything else required. The modification required for your fixture will vary, but I am running it and it looks good. There is a three position switch that selects the color temperature. I chose the middle setting. It works ok with the fan's old dimming control except at very low levels where it sometimes flickers. 3/4 of the dimming range it works perfect. The last time I replaced the Halogen light bulb it was $10. This cost about $18 even with the added hardware, it uses 1/4 of the electricity and runs WAY COOLER.

Thees lights are bright and easy to install if you’re competent and comfortable with simple wiring. I retrofitted two halogen light fixtures with domed lenses whose bulbs were rated at 150 watts when they were new five years ago. I gutted the old innards, and these LED pucks just popped in and are well-held in place by their magnets. These LED lights are brighter than the old halogen bulbs, and the color balance is perfect for our closet. Dimming is good too. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this product!

We replaced the LED lights in pretty ceiling lights that were too dim for the room. Instead of tossing the lights we tried to use this kit to replace the LED unit. It installed in minutes and gives a lovely bright light.Very happy with the purchase, it is a great idea and worked well!!

These led pucks are excellent. The lights burned out in our matching ceiling fans and I was able to swap the modules out with these with ease. Highly recommended and a great money savings over replacing an entire fixture.

One of the two units BUZZEZ very badly after dimming more than one or two levels. So, completely unusable.

Have had similar lighting challenges as others with fans not producing enough light and LED bulbs not lasting. I hope these hold up well for us as the quality and amount of light is very nice. It was a bit difficult to make the bulbs work in the fan enclosure with the magnets and the wiring with the space between the bulb and the magnets. I don’t blame the bulbs though as they cannot handle every manufacturer specification. Happy with this purchase so far.
