Q: I received this today and it seems fatter than the previous one I bought. Does it get thinner with use?

No. The thinner one purchased earlier was probably the size that has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Their current product is slightly larger and has a coarser braid pattern. It is recommended as the replacement for the earlier product. They claim to have tested it thoroughly and confirmed that it worked as well or better on the products that they tested. That appears to be true for most customers. I have had only two returned which the buyer said that they did not work out the thousands that I have sold.

Q: 50" long cord loop, is that 50” long loop or 100” long cord?cord

From my purchasing experience, I would say a 50" loop is a 100" cord. A loop has no end. A cord has two ends.

Q: I need 12 feet of cord to replace the string on my Bali blinds. How can I buy that amount?

Try going directly to Bali or a big box hardware store may be able to make one.
