Great desk. True to size and functionality is great. There is a lot of room to be able to game and for my teenage son to do his schoolwork. Very good quality and very comfortable. Pay attention to the size because it is large and there are many pieces. Did not take long to put together and great instructions.

I purchased this desk to replace another desk I had that at the time of purchase was ok but as I figured out what I do and don’t need in a desk, I realized the old desk(s) were just not cutting it. All design with minimal function.I found the Fredde desk on Ikea’s website and it was out of stock in my area so I waited for a restock. It would be JUST my luck that they discontinued the white colorway in the US.I spent several weeks looking for a dupe. Out of no where, this desk pops up on Amazon like it had been here the whole time? How I missed it is beyond me.Anyway,The desk is extremely sturdy, the open design makes it incredibly roomy and comfortable. It is pretty heavy once put together but not unmanageable.I was able to put it together by myself in about 90m to 2hours give or take. I had made a mistake with the shelves which resulted in a half tear down of the top and a small punch through one of the boards that I cleaned up with some wood glue.My advice is to go very slow putting the side shelves in place. Otherwise, following the instructions was extremely easy and basically zero frustration. Normally, my husband puts together all my furniture due to low frustration tolerance but this wasn’t at all a problem. Correcting my mistake was still incredibly easy and doesn’t affect my desk’s appearance at all.The light strip is a really nice touch but if you already have a native ecosystem in place (philips, govee, nanoleaf etc) just use those. Give the strip to your kids or put it in your catio/doggy spa room.

I’ve ordered desks off of Amazon before obviously, but they’ve broken or warped pretty quickly, so I ended up wanting to buying something a little more expensive than the one I had. For the price, the desk is really nice, it’s really sturdy, the wood is dense and it holds a decent amount of weight. It took me 4 hours alone, and I was going pretty slow, I’d say it’s easier to knock it out with a second person, but you can do it alone.Only downfall is, it only fits two monitors on the ergonomic shelf. I’m a streamer and a pretty heavy gamer, I also work from home, so having three monitors is like a huge need for me. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a way to fit a third monitor somehow, but not on the ergonomic shelf.Overall, the desk has a BUNCH of space for pretty much whatever you want, and it’s made well. I have a good feeling it’ll last me a long time. Definitely worth it for how long I spent building it lol.

Nice desk. Lots of room. Of course the LED strip doesn’t stay. Have to adhere another way. And my fault for not noticing the width of the bottom shelf is end to end. Not shelf space. My case didn’t fit. So I have to do some modifications. But other than that, happy with it

I didn't fully grasp the size of this desk. It's huge. The box it was delivered in weighed 85 pounds. It took 4+ hours to build, but is very sturdy and has plenty of functional storage space. Went together easy, it was just a lot of pieces. No missing parts, screw holes aligned, and overall a good desk. Just very large!

Honestly surpassed expectations!Sturdy! Large and spacious for my dual monitor set up! And Knick knacks.TIP: I purchased the 78.8inch desk for size. And price compared to the 65inch. Worth it!I do not have 78inch to put it but needed to larger desk space. I kept on of the side shelving units out to keep the space I need and saved it for later space upgrade so you can easily assemble the desk without one of the side shelving units!I saw some reviews about the holes aligning and that’s where I messed up at first! There are 4 leg frames 2 of them have a side with ine hole and 2 holes and 2 other legs have just 2 holes! Be careful with assemble and use one leg with 2 hole and one leg with 1 hole for assembly so u don’t have to take it apart and start over! Look at the manual closely XD once u notice it it’s pretty easy to assembly!Worth it for the 150$ especially if u want somerhing big and sturdy!

Honestly surprised. Not only was shipping faster than expected, the product is literally exactly as advertised.Assembly was actually a breeze (took me 2 hours). All the pieces fit perfectly, the instructions were clear. All the screw holes lined up with no issue.The quality of the parts actually seem higher than what I was expecting for this price. The color matches exactly, the size, and everything else. It's not super high-end, but I knew that when I bought it. For my uses, it's perfect.
