I seriously love my new glass Bento(go) lunch and plan to keep it around for a long time and use it for all my lunches to save on money.I truly do recommend this type of Bento(go) Glass Lunch box to anyone who doesn't like eating out of plastic containers like me. Being a HUGE fan of Japanese cuisine and cooking I have tried a few different types of bento from plastic, metal and even wood and I was not happy with the results of it at them at all. I finally found this wonderful glass bento(go) box that makes the food taste better and does last longer too. You can heat it up in a microwave to reheat your food and it ends up tasting just like it would if you just took the food right out of the oven or off the stove-top.This is literally the best glass bento box you could have.Tips: Wash it using a non-abrasive sponge with soap and warm water to avoid any scratch marks on it. If you are into Japanese culture I would recommend getting a furoshiki a traditional Japanese wrapping cloths to wrap your glass bento(go) box in as the softness from the cloth prevents any scratches to it's surface and makes it easier to carry as well. I recommend getting a furoshiki that is at least 48 cm to 70 cm long to make sure you have enough fabric to cover your lovely glass bento.This glass bento box can really help you improve on your creativity when you are cooking.

My son likes the container very much as it totally leak proof, no mass up to his backpack. And the size is good for 10y kids.

I bought this lunch box 2 years ago, and it has not disappointed. I have used many different lunchboxes over the years ranging from stuffing tupperware in a bag to 'nifty' boxes with plastic dividers to keep everything contained. The overriding issue with them all is that they do not hold up to long-term use. Plastic warps, cracks, stains, and becomes very brittle after repeated use. Lids split in half trying to open them,etc., etc. My husband and I use these daily, and so we are tough on them. We've now been using two of these for over 2 years, and they still look brand new. The glass is very thick and sturdy and the lid seems to be top-quality. It has a rubber seal that really does keep things from leaking between sections in the glass. We remove the rubber seal and hand wash the lid, and throw the glass bottom in the dish washer. No problems. I was even skeptical about the rubber seal stretching out over time, but it's not a flat seal like you usually see. It's made 3 dimensional and holds it's shape very well. These things are fabulous, so I may have to get a few more just because I'm so pleased with them.

First of all, I only bought one of these due to cost. It's a great container, but definitely not something you can easily stock up on. I like it because it's glass, as I'm getting rid of my plastic containers. It's especially heavy for a glass container, though, and find that I can't hand wash it due to its weight and massive size, so I stick it in the dishwasher. Of course, the biggest selling point is that the compartments are separated from each other. Nothing has gone over to other compartments yet. However, I did test this out by filling one compartment with liquid and moving it about, and I did find that some of the water leaked into the other compartments. I wouldn't put liquid in this, because of this. The lid is easily scratched- and I mean by just grazing a fingernail over it or something. My lid is all scratched up, and looks like it's seen better days- maybe it's from the dishwasher or being stacked with other containers, but I didn't expect this for the price. Also, I find that I don't use all 3 compartments most of the time, so I would have been better off with the lunch box with the 2 compartments instead. Finally these compartments are huge and probably not portion-appropriate for children under 12. This brand makes special bentos for kids, but they are plastic.

I LOVE this food container container! It hold my complete lunch which always include a main meat item like (burger/sandwich/Lasagna/Steak etc), a small side salad (I make from scratch) and a vegetable like corn or mixed steamed vegetables etc. It have kept my food warm throughout the day & I love how stylish & professional it look! As I have received MANY compliments from my coworkers & friends. This item make me bring a lunch everyday bc I want to use it. Bc of this, I have been saving so much money daily. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS 3 COMPARTMENT GLASS FOOD CONTAINER!

I bought Bentgo Glass Lunch container 2 years ago and has been using it everyday since then. Its leak proof and allows to have food in three compartments without touching each other. Its very easy to clean even if you carry 'curry' like food. In case you carry curry like food, you can easily remove the gasket and clean it separately. The main advantage is the peace of mind that you are not carrying food in a plastic container.The only disadvantage is that it's a little heavy glass compared to similar size plastic containers. For this reason I prefer it to be used by an adult.Due to my daily usage & cleaning and as I carry liquid food like curry, its rubber gasket broke after 2 years of usage. When I raised this complaint to Bentgo customer service, they gladly shipped a new similar lunch box to me.I am truly happy with my purchase and Bentgo customer service.

I wanted to love these due to the size, being well made, great price, however after only using for less than a month, one lid does not snap on fully anymore and one container with lid actually leaks, I contacted company so I hope to hear from them soon.

I was put off by the price at first thinking "some glass with a plastic lid for $20?", but this is probably the best glass lunch container you can get. It is quality. It's deep enough to fit a lot of food, fits in a 14-16L lunchbox, and the lid seals the 3 sections off so any liquidy food is not spilling over. And of course, because it's glass, you don't have to worry about melting plastic and discoloration when microwaving (also oven safe, sans lid).After using it for a few days at work, I'm very satisfied and would buy it again if I happen to break it.

I have used this for last 2 months as a lunch box along with the other bentgo salad bowl.I have no complaints with the quality or make , only pain with it is they are not light weight, which is expected when you have a strong build quality. They are easy to clean due to smooth edges. I will definitely recommend this.

We love these lunch boxes. Very well designed. There are no issues with leaking, as the lids fit very tight. We did have an issue with one of the side flaps cracking, so I called customer support. They were fantastic, and had a replacement lid shipped out that week. Love this product!!
