I absolutely love this book! It makes me feel seen as a Christian and a Black woman and someone who wants to practice my faith through social justice reform. I am thankful that Dr. Gabriella and Dr. Andrew took the time to share reflections on the Psalms in such an impactful and practical way for all to enjoy. It is for everyone and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated the way the authors connected the psalms to contemporary life, but also the way they provided questions for stirring the imagination and for honest reflection so that the reader doesn’t just encounter God but the reality of oneself.

I have used a variety of devotionals over the decades; some are even considered classics by many. This one stands apart in relevance and truly captures my attention with daily inspiration. In some ways, it's unbelievable, otherworldly,I have purchased around 30 for family and friends around the country.

I loved the daily scripture and things to meditate on. I follow Dr Anika Wilson Brown and we read this on her morning POWER Up prayer & devotions. I'm glad she recommended the book.

I absolutely look this book! I am a millennial, seeking earnestly, desperately reconciling my faith with the way of the present world. This is a devotion that can be read in order out of order or a focus on the same Psalm for a month.Everyday has a corresponding Psalm from the Bible, a reflection to focus on, a devotional and then wonderful questions for the day. I love that one day in the Psalm of the day can be self paced. My approach is to read the Scripture for the day in the morning, understand what it’s saying and how God is speaking to me. During the evening I move on to the reflection as I reflect back on the day. What did God show me in response to this Scripture? What people/persons did God gift me today? What was their message for me? Just in constant reflection.I’m so excited about this purchase I applaud the authors and I’m sure their Congregation has been transformed because of this work.Thank you Rev Otis Moss III for recommending this title.

Though I just got this book, the read is excellent to forge a better understanding of struggles of those seeking justice.
