I bought this JFV60-E1 Espresso colored cabinet from Trend Marketing, delivered by Amazon. The item arrived super fast, but came in damaged (see below). I gave it a high score because:- It's a fine product at a reasonable price ($369 on sale with free shipping by Amazon). My wife chose this product because it looked nice in the picture. The thick wood grain finish, deep espresso color, thick solid boards and the two glass panel doors render an elegant high end appeal. All parts are nicely designed and precision manufactured to every detail. The use of particle board makes it very heavy (~140 lb), but brings the cost down.- It's a low profile TV counter. For comfortable viewing, the center of the TV should be slightly lower than the eye level. Most of the products are too tall for the large screens today. The cabinet itself is 15" and stands ~19" with the provided legs. Our 65" TV on a 4" stand seems to be in an ideal height when sitting on a kitchen stool or standing behind the sofa. With our sofa at 15" from the floor, the TV is a few inches too high. If we couldn't get used to it after a while, I may remove the 4" legs at some point.- The two shelve design has enough room for a receiver, a DVD/Blu-ray player, a cable box/DVR, a smart media center and a game controller. You'll run out of shelf space if you need to put all your A/V equipment and multiple game controllers, etc. Fortunately I don't have this problem.- The product is good for up to 65" TV. It's probably a bit small for 70" or larger. Consider it'll be a piece of your furniture over the next 15-20 years, this minor detail could save some regrets.A couple of items can be improved:- The instruction should have noted about the slight difference in two middle vertical divider/support. The mounting holes have an offset between the left and right. I notice it after failing to place the shelves. Had to remove the top board and switch the pieces.- There are too many openings in the back covers that I may have to clean the equipment inside more often than necessary. The mfg should have left the precut on the boards in place for the end users to decide how many to open up.- The through holes on the legs are too small for the screw to go through easier, which would make it hard to secure or remove the screws. I had to open them up.- The box fell apart upon arrival because it was previously wet, leaving water stain on some of the parts. The storage is probably inadequate in the storm season (the box is already dry after 2 day shipping).I did not deduct point for the packaging and the damages (acceptable cosmetic damages) because the seller and Amazon promptly responded with an adequate refund, which is a sensible business decision. It would have cost them a lot more if I had demanded a replacement. Amazon has earn my trust that it is honestly helping customers to get good products at low cost and its customer service reps are good at that.A note for buyers: be careful to look for the color code "-E1" if you want Espresso color. Don't rely on the pictures because not all sellers describe it. I was glad to have read the comments by Mr. Ziesmer.

This is well built, fairly easy to assemble, and good looking. Super great for the price.There are two colors for the JFV60, espresso and chocolate. I ordered this one, seeing the brownish picture, thinking I was getting chocolate, but the "- E1" after the product number is for espresso. Looking at the Sanus website color swatches, one can see that both colors look a similar brown there. My espresso unit is virtually black, and going by the website, it'd be hard to guess on the other. So if you want brown, contact the seller to make sure you get chocolate, but don't be too sad if it is also almost black. I was originally disappointed with my espresso (black), but I decided to keep it and am now very happy with it.N.B. When you open the box, and for a few days, it is odorous. During the off-gassing period, it is probably a good idea to have good ventilation.The seller, Beach Camera, was great.Update: after one month. The unit has developed swayback, it bows down by about an eighth inch in the middle. My receiver, which fits snugly and is a little heavy, and the medium size flat screen are causing this, but it shouldn't happen. I recommend not placing heavy components in the middle sections. Put them over the legs. I'll have to support it underneath. Most of the negative reviews on this product regard wall mounting, mine is sits on the floor with its legs. (Still not too bad for the price though.)

Bough this two weeks ago. Looks great, very solid construction and fast shipping. However this is advertised as being compatible with FMK056 mount in Sanus System's instruction manuals and website. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE MOUNT - I contacted customer service who replaced the pieces that should have had mounting holes. They used a shipping company that could not fit down my street(?!) street so I had to carry a 100lb+ box a couple of blocks only to find the pieces also did not have mounting holes. Needless to say I was a little annoyed. After calling and emailing customer service they have yet to even get back to me about the issue. I'm now stuck with a useless $100 mount, a bunch of pieces and no solution. Thanks Sanus.If not using with the mount and you don't need to contact customer service then this a pretty nice entertainment unit. Otherwise stay away.Edit 5/24/11.Sanus has got back to me and is shipping new parts. Again this is well constructed good looking unit - I would have given it 4 stars if not for the drama with mount. The only mark I would deduct is the fact the espresso is much darker than shown - almost black.Update 10/15/12Still a great unit after over a year. I have posted some pics as per a request in the comments. My TV is mounted with the optional FMK056 mount by sanus (Hopefully the manufacturing flaw is fixed for that attachment).

Overall I am very happy with this product. It was delivered ahead of schedule from Crutchfield when ordered through Amazon. It fits perfectly in my game room and after about an hour of assembly it seems overall a very sturdy and good looking product. There seems to be much versatility when it comes to what you can sit in this entertainment center. There is plenty of space in each compartment and there is gaps in the borders that separate them for running cables or speaker wires and such between each compartment. There are three separate covers to for each compartment on the back that are easily removable and do not have to be tac nailed on like most other home theater systems. Another thing of note that seem to be a great choice by the manufacture, is the front glass doors actually slide along the face of the entertainment center rather than swing out on the hinges. You might notice but my pictures that I chose to install a different type of footing just to bring it down a bit lower. My plans are to install an ultra short throw projector and I wanted to make sure that this sits as low as possible when I put the projector on top of it.
