Great rack, can't believe I waited so long to get it!
This is a fantastic bit of kit. It has clearly written, easy to understand assembly instructions, it comes with the tools needed for assembly, and even has a few spare washers and bolts. It took about less than an hour to set up. It is sturdy enough for a rack mounted server or two and some networking gear with a UPS. They even include cage nuts and screws so it's possible to start populating the rack immediately. It's got 42U of rack space, all clearly labeled, making it a breeze to fit gear as needed. Startech also includes cable management, so you you can keep the rack organized when you need it.In terms of looks, it's pretty standard, with a nice finish that does not feel thin or cheap. I'm using this in my home lab, and it really helped me organize my rack gear and get it all installed without much of a fight or hassle.Does require a two person lift - sure you can show off and lift it alone, however it's just ungainly and not balanced well in the package, so you're just better off with a two person lift and move.

Awesome Server Rack for an fantastic price
This rack really impressed me. I didn't have any issues with the packaging and all the parts arrived as expected. The box it came in was pretty thin for how rough and sturdy the metal parts are but in my case it was fine.Assembly was a little difficult because the instructions it came with had images that were kind of hard to see so I just relied on the product images on amazon. There is a part when you have to screw together 3 different metal pieces so the order could be important. It includes tools (actually good quality) to help install however I still needed a wrench to tighten the screws on the wheels which was a bummer.Over all the assembled rack is SOLID. I have a slight warp to it though where my Rack Mac Pro 2019 won't click both sides of the locking mechanism. I have to push the right side in to make it click. Pretty minor honestly and probably easily fixable if I loosen some screws and retighten them.Overall I love this rack. The included tools were great but they need to include something to be able to screw on the wheels because the nut and bolt just spin without holding both sides. The Rack is super sturdy and I have no doubt my Rack Mac Pro, UPS/backup power, and networking equipment won't be going anywhere. I love that It's adjustable.

Great sturdy rack
Shipped from amazon.com. Outside amazon box & inside OEM box showed signs of abuse at time of delivery, although nothing was missing or damaged. This item seems to be a newer designed rack compared to other StarTech.com racks. Capable of holding twice the weight of previous designs, it is very solid and sturdy.Assembly was simple enough, it took me about 2.5 hours without rushing. The assembly instructions were a bit on the light side, however if one takes time and care it's relatively smooth. My first step in assembly was to unwrap all the pieces to get an ideal of what might go where. Initially a bit unclear, instructions had the rack on its side, I chose to assemble mine upright. It was very helpful to have an extra hand for a few steps, but unnecessary if one is patient and methodical. I hand tightened all bolts until the frame was complete, allowing for little trouble aligning bolts into the sleeve nuts. Only on one occasion did I misalign a bolt. It was very obvious that the bolt was cross threading due to the immediate difficulty in hand tightening. I pulled the bolt out and use more care to allow it to align properly. I aligned my side beams at positions 3 & 4 allowing for a 29 inch depth. I had no issues mounting Dell rapidrails or other rails. The kit does include two wrenches, I still found myself going to my toolbox to get a 10mm ratchet wrench to tighten the castor nuts.I opted not to use the wire management accessories, it appears they need installed before placing items in the rack. They also stick out a fair bit on the sides, interfering with where I intended to locate my rack. I found plenty of ways to zip-tie my wires neatly to the side post of the rack. The only issue I perceive is with a caster wheel. When moving the rack around it makes a snapping sound, it might be missing a ball bearing, but still moves smoothly and suites my needs. This rack is solid! once it's assembled and tightened there is no perceivable flexing and i'd feel pretty confident setting a V-8 engine on it (without the casters). The kit is good!
