Not too loud
I bought this for my son with ADHD and autism. It's wonderful! I was afraid the sound would be too loud for him but there are two volume settings and the lower volume is perfect. Our other kids (8-15yo) also like to use it. No ticking noise, super easy to turn the knob, perfect volume... we're all very happy with it!

A toddler must have
An excellent tool for setting toddlers up for success when it comes to completing tasks or preparing for transitions!

Sturdy visual timer
This is a great timer! It's a little pricey, but my son has thrown it multiple times and dropped it into the toilet and it still works. It doesn't alert as loudly as it used to, but it was very loud so maybe the toilet dip was helpful in lowering the volume a bit.

Great visual timer.. wish it ticked when it moved
I should have read the description but it doesn’t tick when it moves. Which is fine overall. Bht my toddler would prefer a ticking sound

Wonderful for transitions with my Toddler
This is such a great tool to use for kids. It helps them conceptualize time and gives them an understanding of when an activity will start or end. It greatly helps with our son who struggles with transitions. The color is dark enough that he can see as it counts down, and the volume can be adjusted depending on your house noise level and preference. This gets used in our house almost every day!

Easy to see, does tick
We have these in a few colors because I like them for quickly setting a rough time and being able to see what's left- note the yellow one is harder to see from far away or in low light because it doesn't have much contrast to the white background. They DO make a ticking noise, and if you're right next to it in a quiet room while trying to concentrate you may be annoyed. If I'm reading or meditating or napping, I use a different timer that's harder to set but makes no noise.

Good timer but cracks easily
Love the concept of this timer and it’s cute. Downside is the front plastic covering cracks very easily. My son dropped it the first day we got it and it cracked across the front. It still works fine and doesn’t effect that but was hoping it would hold up better!
