Soooo suction cups tend to fall off the windshield, especially when it gets hot out. Saw this on Amazon and noticed it came with multiple attachments for various mounting types. Figured I'd give it a shot. Well, I'm glad I did. So glad in fact that I ended up buying another for our other vehicle. Both are Toyota Prius V. At first, I didn't think it would work because the rear view mirror arm on the Prius V is short and angled upwards. Then I read the instructions and the illustrations show that the screw and wingnut can be reversed and installed downward. Tried that and it worked! I was able to get the appropriate adapter on the mount and then the dashcam mounted easily - both cameras have different mounting types and the adapters were both included in the kit. I also ordered a 15ft long power cable and routed up and around the windshield and trim to hide the cable. Looks great and works well! Highly recommended for the short term! Will update if this fails but I don't think so because they seem sturdy.

Bought this for my Roav dashcam. I was using the stock suction cup mount but it no longer maintains grip and would fall off the windshield far too frequently. I had cleaned the inside of the windshield and cleaned the suction cup with alcohol wipes (no detergent) but it would still regularly fall off.Using this mount my camera is now attached to my rear-view mirror stalk. Appears to be very secure. I honestly doubt it will fall off now. The mount was easy to assemble as well.

Finally no more falling suction cup mounts! This adapter work absolutely amazing. It’s easy to use and install, works great for all kinds of Dash Cams. I had to buy a few of these for each of my vehicles.

works and you will never have to worry about the suction failing. BUT, yes there's a but, it's shaky causing the videos to be shaky as well. Does your camera have video stability? then no need to worry. if it doesn't, then consider this factor first. I've left the mount on as a backup for when the suction cup fails and it will eventually.

This worked with my Zedge dashcam. It was a little hard getting the bolts to go on since it's almost smashed up to the windshield.... Can't go the other way but I got it to work.

Waste of money. Not even worth returning. Oh well. Did not fit on the rear view mirror of either of my vehicles. Pointless

The dash cam holder is easy to install. The variety of attachments is good but is not as universal fit for every dash camera. I have two different dash camera's and only one was compatible with the attachments. Overall it does what it is intended to do. However, the quality of your video will be affected by this dash cam holder. The holder cause the rearview mirror the shake and your camera will shake along with it. I tried tightening the screws and adjusting it in different ways but the shaking continues. When looking at the videos the shaking really bothered me.

I have a dash cam that has been on a dash mount, a suction cup windshield mount, a vent mount, and a cup holder mount. None of them worked for my purposes (they were in the way, or the suction cup wouldn't stay on for more than a few days.) This is the best one for me by far. It holds the camera steady so it doesn't move when you hit a speed bump or on gravel roads, and it's out of my way and not blocking my view of the road. Great quality for a low price.
