My second bedroom has a south-facing window which basically always has sunlight blasting into it really needed a treatment. The blinds still work, but because they are white, they still reflect an awful lot of light into the room at all hours. These work great! Black backing fabric is really the way to go, as there isn't much light bleed above and below if its mostly absorbed by the backing fabric. Not sure it's had any major impact on thermals in the room itself (as I already have double pane windows) but it drastically reduces the overall light entering the room.The fabric is nice and soft. Didn't see any flaws in the construction. The grommets are well made. No frayed edges or anything.My only mistake is not noticing this listing is only for 1 curtain rather than a pair. Most uses for this style of curtain come in pairs for obvious reasons. I guess this make it seem like it could be cheaper? Either way, I highly recommend picking up two of these, as they are still price-competitive to others in the same category.Also, invest in a garment steamer to get the wrinkles out. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but its one of those things that won't really improve in any meaningful amount of time.

I used these to close off an unused doorway to cut the chill in winter time. Was on a mission to stop cold air flow. These worked brilliantly. As you enter my home, theres a small foyer, I have steps upstairs and straight ahead is the entrance for the kitchen, to the right is an unnecessary entrance for the living room. I used these to block any doorway air in said unnecessary living room entrance. So they don't function as curtains but as a moveable access point. They are regularly moved to access stuff and my dog moves them to make himself a nice cozy spot. The reason I tell you all this, stranger, is that these curtains have held up. They are nice and strong. They have big time reduced my cold air in winter. And it's about to be summer and there are no plans to take them down. They add nice color to an otherwise empty space in our home. Great great great quality. Also, they are beautifully long. I just love these. I use long curtains as backdrops behind bedframes, I have not used these for that purpose but I bet they would be stellar for that too!

I initially bought the wrong size, so I returned it and got the correct size. I really like the color. One of them was slight dirty on top, but I disregarded because it would have been too much of a hassle to return. Can’t be seen since all the way to the top. I really like these and it does it job in blacking out the light. Recommend.

I hung these in my bedroom over a sliding glass door. I hung them up high and let them drag the ground and they COMPLETELY block all light and help keep my room cool. Color is very close to my walls which is what I wanted. Perfectly satisfied with my order and would definitely buy them again!! I left them slightly open in the pictures so you can see how well they work!! With my bedroom door closed and these completely closed my room is a nice dark, cool cave to sleep in!!

I like this curtain but it is not quite the right length. I had to return for a longer one. The only reason for a4 not a 5 is after measuring three times I needed exactly 84" long but when I hung it it was 2.5" short. I had no problem returning and reordering a longer curtain which is a little to long but will work for me.

My daughter's apartment was getting so warm from the sun coming in her sliding doors. These curtains helped so much! They are great light blocking curtains! Very heavy!

They do block light very well
