I like these filters because they work well at a reasonable price. When the fish in my 5x9 foot pond are very active I often have to replaced and clean filters every day or two. The initial fit is tight but they are durable and a good value.

I don't change these spongie filter thingies enough. My little pond was nasty and dirty so we drained the water and put in clean water and when we took the pond pump out it was gross. Ordered these and they fit perfectly (with one left over?) and it's clean again and my frog spitter has good pressure. I suppose I should order more frequently and keep it nice and clean.

Perfect fit for our little pond pump. The plug up so easily and you can only wash them out so many times, so it is nice to be able to get a 6 pack at a reasonable price.

Work well. But if a tight fit

These last a fairly long time and are easy to replace when complely clogged with dirt. I use them in an outdoor pond which I keep clean with these filters and occasionly chlorine shock.

We purchased a home with a very neglected pond. I bought these to use as a 2nd set of filters for our new Beckett 5X filter. They are a bit tighter weave and a little snug on the filter arms, but they do loosen up over time. Our pond was very murky & dirty, even either the more dense filter material they don't clog up any faster than the filters that are from Beckett. Excellent value, will definitely purchase again!

I needed replacements for fountain pumps after raccoons destroyed the originals. works as designed.

The material these are made from is really soft and more tightly made sponge, which means they catch more tiny particles and clog up very quickly. The Beckett ones are easier to clean as the material can withstand a great force from a hose to rinse it out. The Beckett ones last 3-6 months with monthly rinsing, but these don't rinse well at all and I end up throwing them away rather than trying to clean them. I'm not a fan of so much waste, so I will buy the Beckett ones.

The media could not be loaded.  I am using a small pond pump and these fit the pump perfect.I posted the pond so you can see the size, the pump is a 6ft riser pump. Not sure of the name as its been awhile but it was for a small pond and pressure to 6ft for the fountain and dual for the water fall.These will fit most small pond pumps as I have had several and they all seem to have the same size filter as this one.They seem to be made of the same material as my expensive one and I got 6 in this package for less than half the price of one of the others so I am happy with the purchaseProduct as shown in ad.
