Not the most visually appealing
I realize the point of this book is to help with language learning, but I would have liked it to be laid out a little nicer. There are limited pictures that are black and white. Looks more like a text book than a children's book to me.

really interesting read :)
"I think that this book is really informative and great. You not only are learning about the Spanish language, you are also getting the sense of how one would tell the story in this language. I really enjoy the tales here because they aren’t just the fairy tales we know and love. The stories have more flavor added to them. Overall it is great!"

Classic fairytales for people learning Spanish or English
Loved the collection of fairy tales in this book. All the classics I grew up with. I like how they translated a few paragraphs at a time. Spanish first and then English. I loved that it even had some pictures in it. The fact that you can download the audio files separately is pretty neat! Gives you flexibility to practice listening to Spanish and speaking it.

What A better Fairy Tale Book Than This One!
My children and I enjoyed hearing g and reading along to these amazing fairy tales before bed! It helps them improve an embrace our second language by reading them in both English and Spanish. I recommend this to all bilingual families! There is no better way to go then this book!

meh, skip it
I understand that literal translations definitely aren't always the best, but this book could do a MUCH better job with the translations to help language learning. Meanings are changed and sentences or phrases are left out for no reason all throughout the stories, so I have to stop and look things up often enough that it defeats my whole purpose of getting this book. Also, the illustrations are cheesy line drawings that do nothing to redeem the book.

Wasn’t what I was looking for. No photos either.

Great way to learn Spanish
I got this book to help me learn to read and speak Spanish. I've got two books from My Daily Spanish and they are a great tool. I've paired this some audio books and other grammar books and it's perfect.
