I love this stuff! Works well keeping the curl if you put it on your hair when wet and let it air dry. When hairs dry, It'll have a crunchy affect. If you run your fingers or brush through your hair, the curls will be lesser, but your hair will be very soft. Smells great, too!

Works very well with my curly, fine, medium density hair. Good curls and volume. Since my hair is fine, it’s always moving between losing the curls and just ending up frizzy and everywhere, or being weighted down and flat. This one seems to work. I tried on my hair wet and I didn’t even notice it was there, but on damp hair, it worked great.

The media could not be loaded. I was not able to cut my hair for three months and after a period of very unsightly hairdos, one day I looked in a mirror and realized that I no longer need a hair because my hair began curling, got shorter, and looked good. According to the hair types charts, I have a 3a hair type. I included a graphic illustrating the hair type, as I only learned of the hair types and perhaps some others need help figuring our what they are. 3a type hair forms loose curls from the root to the end of the hair (i.e. not waves, and not tight curls). When my hair was shorter it just looked slightly wavy.I bought OGX curling defining cream to enhance the appearance of the curls. I never used a product like this before and was not quite sure what to expect. It did not make a huge difference for me but I think there is a bit more clumping of curls when I use it.After cream dried some strands of hair cling together but feel a little stiff. When I work them with my fingers the stiffness goes away. If I combed my hair, I lost the curls and the hair looked messy and unmanaged. After combing I can get the curls back by wetting the hair. I get the best results if I apply the cream to wet hair (after I towel dry it), then let the hair try naturally, and then run my fingers through the hair to break up the stiff-looking curls.The cream has a very light scent, almost unscented. I detect no scent once it is on my head. I like that.Update: I found that if I use a drying cap my curls look more defined because the cap accordions the curls as they dry so they keep their shape. I used this on 2 of my son’s hair, it took the frizz out and softened their curls. I LOVE the smell! After I put it on my 2 year old son I couldn’t stop smelling his hair. LOL I’d give 5 stars just for how it makes your hair smell.

I purchased this based on other hair products by this brand. Just didn't work that well on my curly hair style.

Good for curling. My hair type is worn in a natural Afro style with tiny tight coils. This product slightly elongated the curls with more definition. It actually works well without too much stiffness when it dried. It’s Non-sticky. Glad I bought it.

This stuff is a must have if you have wavy or curly hair! It makes curls look smooth and frizz free even in the humidity, and smells heavenly! I am forever being told my hair smells good. A little goes a long way, and this bottle is a great value.
