if you are looking for quality modern design and fully loaded with advanced features do not THINK of getting any other sound machine. I just received my order of two Koala sound machines. I purchased one black and one white- To match the color theme of my bedroom linen. I am thrilled! This is an amazing unit. You get to choose from a variety of sounds.of the sounds that i find the most exciting & original is the Lullaby sound. It actually mimics a baby mobile. I personally find that soothing for myself. Another incredible feature is the delayed shut off button. You have the option of delaying the off button to 15 min 60 min and 7 hours! Its an awesome feature. It will shut off as i waking up so i wake up to a more natural environment. If you thought you knew it all listen to this exclusive invention. This unit comes equipped with a built -in rechargeable battery. After charging for few hours a day it will last you for up to 12 hours. Hence. This was designed in mind for the frequent Traveler. pop it into your travel bag and use it in the car- stroller- airplane or just about any place. Last but not least. Pretty good, but the brook
Pretty good, but the brook, bird, surf, even the rain and typhoon sounds are repeated after a short loop (like 10-20 seconds). The lullabies are longer, but those are not very useful to me. So I mostly use the brown noise. Also, the sound volume gradation goes from quiet to a bit louder, then jumps to medium loud, then louder more gradually again. That one step is crossing a gap where it would be nice to have more options. Still, it seems well-made, easy-to-use buttons and dial, decent sound quality.

Stopped working completely after a month.
We bought this on Aug 25th for our foster children and it's been wonderful. Today it just stopped working during nap time and won't work anymore. It broke after just one month of use. ☹After writing this review they contacted me immediately and I was sent a replacement. 😊my child is happy again! Wonderful customer service!

Good sound, loud adjusting buttons.
Update: I was contacted by the company less than 24 hours after posting my review. They are sending me a new sound machine. Wow! What great customer service. Updating my review based on customer service and because even my apparently used machine worked. Can’t wait for a new one. Looks like I got one someone else sent back. Packaging was not new and sealed. Unit had some marks on it and battery was already charged. With that said, it seems to work fine. Volume buttons and very loud when adjusting, but sounds are good. Will uodate again if that changes after use.

The media could not be loaded. A disability called Hyperacusis makes living in the modern world a 24/7 nightmare. A friend suggested trying a sound machine, so off to Amazon with me! Finding a unit to meet my needs, in a price range I can manage, I am feeling very blessed indeed to have not only found a unit, but was met with extraordinary care and rapid feedback, astonishing delivery considering the time of year, and a generous discount from the seller when I decided to hurry up and get a second machine for the opposite side of the apartment. My deep apppreciation to Dime & Nickel, so glad I’ve found you!

Low sound quality
It's an ok sound machine for the price. The sounds are ok. With the exceptions of the Lightning and Typhoon ones. The storm recording used is of a too mild version. Only occasional deep rumbles and rolling thunder. The Typhon sound is horrible. Imagine wind whisteling through a barely cracked car window thats driving 80mph. Also,speaker is of low quality. Very tinny and zero base.

Very Nice
So far we have really liked the machine. It is compact, able to be plugged into a USB port, wall or have batteries; and has a variety of sounds to listen too. The volume is easily adjustable and it is user friendly. Great price too

Updated! Great product and Company
Edited to update to 5 stars! The company contacted me within a couple days and replaced it with a new one that works GREAT!Just got mine today and it doesn't work at all 😔 I let it charge came home wouldn't work at all. Unplugged it from the charger, plugged it back up less than a minute later and it says it's not fully charged. Hoping it's just a random oops and I can get a working one!
