works well and boils fast! turns off automatically when boiling.mostly metal parts but the lid is not, but i assume it's bpa-free.i hope this pot lasts longer than the other one.it was a plastic clear one attached to metal base, and it only lasted about 10 months, different brand.

As a coffee addict I truly enjoy this pot. I travel often and I like using my French press so I carry this warmer with me everywhere. It’s very fast and easy to use.

Grateful size! Good quality. It takes about 8 minutes to boil. It takes some effort to clean. You have to clean after each use. But it's good for me to use at work. I prefer my stainless steel version that I use at home.

And you definitely taste the difference in your coffee and tea. Really makes customizing your own drink a better experience both in prep and flavor quality.POSITIVES:Simple and safe to use. A single button press activates it with an led to indicate when it's on. And it shuts itself off after bringing water to a boil, so you never have to worry about over-boiling. There's a thumb lever press to lift the lid for refilling the water. When removed from the base after heating, it's safe to set on down on surfaces. The size is large enough for multiple cups and the mostly steel exterior provides a lot of durability. UPDATE: I give up on this kettle after receiving a replacement with the same problem (the last 2 images). And this time, there are some scratches on the stainless steel body near the beak area.-------------looks ok, but the quality of making is questionable. please see image. the plastic that was used to secure the stainless steel looked like it was melted during the process of making. asked for replacement----------
