Yay! Gaffer tape that works!
I used gaffer tape to “temporarily” patch up some carpeting in the church (yeah, not it’s intended use, not for long-term) and it was shriveling up. I dug up the roll of tape we had used before, and it was nasty, lumpy on the roll, supper sticky. I pulled up some of the shriveling tape, and it left a dark, adhesive residue, something that previous tapes had not done. Looking at our Amazon purchases, I noticed we had gone “economy” based on ratings, What a mistake! We went back to this brand, and while it is hiding the sins of the “economy” tape, I am confident that when it comes time to renew the “temporary carpet fix” till we can get new carpet, that the tape will be easily removed and replaced as needed. Great stuff, the real gaffer tape.

Great Stick Without the Stuck
We used this tape to lay a Marley dance floor onto old linoleum flooring (yes, this is an old building) for a temporary performance. The tape kept the flooring in place for a heavy dance performance that lasted for about 2 hours. When we removed the tape, after 3 days of it being down in high heat, it left 0 residue.I will say that I had this tape on the carpet for wires at a local church. It gave a good stick, but when I removed it (after about 1 year, 6 months) the glue did get stuck. I strongly suggest leaving the tape down temporarily, no longer than 3 months because the glue will start to become extremely sticky.

Great value on a really good gaffers tape
If you use gaff tape then you know how handy it is for everything. I use this for occasional audio and video recording, but I use it in my office and shop too as it holds strong and doesn't leave a residue. This brand rips easily off the roll and works just like I expected. Incredibly versitile; I'd recommend everyone have a few rolls at home. Always in the color black, but that's the point! Great deal.

Great Tape, Just Missing a Few Things
The Lockport Black Gaffers Tape is really solid for most applications. It’s strong, adheres well, and is great for everything from securing cables to temporary fixes. The 4-pack is convenient, and the size is perfect for handling various projects. However, I did find that it could be a bit more flexible; it’s not the easiest to tear by hand, and I had to use scissors a few times. Also, the adhesive could be a bit stronger for surfaces with a lot of wear.Overall, it’s a reliable tape that does the job well, but there’s room for a few improvements. Still, I’d definitely recommend it!

Works great for securing cords on the stage light set up!
This tape is perfect for securing cords and such on my stage lighting setup.Easy to tear the length you need and leaves no residue when you remove it, but holds well. The color blends well with the black trusses that my stage lights are secured to.

Terrible. Waste of Money & Time.
I bought this brand to replace a different brand of Gaffers tape that my husband had. I was extremely impressed by how high quality and sticky it was; which was the first time I had experience with Gaffers Tape at all. I’m prefacing that to say, I thought this type of tape would be great in any brand based off my 1st experience, so I chose in this brand with the expectation it would be just as amazing, durable, and almost infinitely sticky. To my surprise Gaffers tape is pricey- so I bought this brand because it was 2 rolls for a great price. This was a total mistake. This brand is NOT as good of a material and and it is not durable AT ALL. I used it to seal up the air pockets in the windows where I have my portable heater exhausts so air wouldn’t seep in, but after a few days almost every piece of tape started to lift and fall off. I found strips in every window I did this for (which was 4). So when I thought I was saving money and getting a good deal, I was actually just losing money. Now I have to spend more to replace the tape itself. Furthermore, I now have to spend double the time redoing my work. Which honestly p*sses me off more. I do not suggest this brand of tape- please learn from my mistake and don’t allow the allure of a few dollars saved deceive you into purchasing this brand. Get the good *ish the 1st time around. You’ll be much happier.

Great tape.
Gaffers tape is much superior to duct tape in that it holds securely then comes up clean. A good product at a good price.

Good stickiness
Sticks just right to the gymnasium floor I had a gig at. Easy to remove too. Should've got the 3" though.

The cheapest gaff tape that does what its supposed to
I run an event production company and have crunched the numbers and this is the cheapest gaff tape we could find that is consistently good. It feels a little thinner than some of the more expensive stuff on the market but for one-time use it's perfect. Doesn't leave residue or rip up carpet. Doesn't take the finish off hardwood.

A must have tape
Gaffer tape is so useful and I could list so many ways it helps. This is super adhesive but peels off without leaving a residue for short term use. It's strong and does what I need it to do.

great price but the tape leaves glue traces on concrete floor, no trace left on stage floor though.

Works as Advertised
I read a few complaints and I failed to find the same faults. So far, this stuff grips great and does what it promised. My only issue would be it was a little tough to tear. But that is not a fault of the company. It’s my spindley fingers. Lol!
