I had dabbled with cold showers a few years ago, but for whatever reason did not stick with it. This book is such a good read, I could almost feel the benefit of winter swimming as I read🤣 I have started cold water/ice baths at home and am loving it! no coffee in the world compares to the dip in the cold and gasping for air haha. This book was very motivating and very educational! Thank you for this research!

Health benefits of cold water exposure
Dr. Soberg writes a very compelling review of the benefits of cold water exposure. My favorite chapters were Chapt 10: "Does it Make You Healthier". (Spoiler alert: yes it does!). And Chapter 13, "In The Sauna". Granted I am biased having read a slew of material previously and following Dr. Peter Attia and the famed Standford research profressor, Huberman (both with great podcasts). I have now beeing doing cold water exposure at 4C and sauna heat (always finish on cold, though, as Dr. Soberg explains). Summary: Highly recommend her book!

Dr. Susanna Søberg Book is a must have and must read.
I have followed Dr. Susanna Søberg research and content for over a year and was happy to see an English translation of her book released last week - i had pre-ordered and already read it once and then some and have notes on many of the pages for my own learning and life . I really despise cold weather and water, and embracing her research and understand how i can build up my tolerance as well as the health benefits have really positive impacted my life. This book and graphics are a great read as well as an easy one to digest in laymen's terms. Thannks

Fun and full of knowledge!
Really great and fun book to read! Packed with knowledge 10/10 and a must for anyone trying to learn more about winter swimming and saunas

Truly a must read book!
This book is truly breathtaking in both its physical beauty and the knowledge that it entails. The whole world needs to know what’s on these pages because it will not only strengthen your mind, but also your body and soul!
