Small, compact, does the job
I needed to purchase a POE switch for some security cameras that I purchased, and after doing my math and finding the specs of everything, I found that this switch gave me enough power for the project I had in mind. The switch is similar in size to an Apple TV or Roku and can be mounted on the wall if needed, if space is a premium for your install, this little box will help you keep the clutter to a minimum.I purchased a small UPS to plug the Amcrest POE switch into and it should provide 2-3 hours of time for the cameras to be up and running even while the power is out.In the end, easy to setup (just power up and plug in your cables) and does the job nicely. Would definitely consider purchasing another if I had the need.

It's amazing to get a PoE switch at this price
I was searching for a PoE switch to allow me add additional devices that has to share PoE port that already connects to a VoIP phone. All other options are much more expensive than this one but I have a few Amcrest IP cameras already so was eager to give this a try. The installation was extremely easy, just plug and play, the PoE VOIP powered up quickly and my other devices (non-VoIP) was able to share the same port as intended. The build quality is solid, the power brick is bigger than expected, but not an issue at all and is always nice to know power isn't an issue on a PoE switch.Overall, this is a great option for people that are looking for a PoE switch.

This POE+switch does Exactly what it should
I bought this Amcrest POE+switch to use with their POE cameras. It is performing flawlessly to both power and attach the camera to the rest of my network. Just plug in the included power supply, plug it into your existing router, and plug in your cameras. That is all you have to do and the cameras appear on your network like they are connected directly to your router. No muss, no fuss, it just works!

Excellent Little PoE Switch
I bought this to power some PoE Cameras and it works perfectly for the task! Do note that this one (that I bought) is a Fast Ethernet Switch and not Gigabit (know your requirements and what you are buying, this wont be an issue for most applications/people given the number of ports and typical use of PoE switches). It works exactly as described and definitely outputs the rated amount of power as my requirements were towards the higher end of the range and it worked perfectly! Definitely recommended at this price point, quite a value!! A++

Simple and Inexpensive functional 802.3.at POE Switch.
This is a very basic switch. There are no configuration options and actually no configuration interface. The switch itself does not have an IP address like in some of the "smart" or "managed" switches. But it does what it claims it does: It delivers 802.3at (and af) power. I have a larger camera connected to it that works fine with it. This camera will not work with switches that only support 802.3af. The switch looks well built (metal case). It stays pretty cool after running it for a while with one camera connected.

Works great. Also mountable if needed.
I bought this switch to connect a few VoIP phones to my network in my office. We're a relatively new company without a server rack so I was able to mount this on a support beam in the office that needed the phones. I ran a cable to our router on the other side of the warehouse and plugged it into the uplink port on the switch. The switch was able to power and provide connectivity to all 3 phones.

Worked for a while.
This looked promising as having a sturdy metal case and good performance for a while. But after several years running POE cameras, the power supplies to the cameras fizzled out. However, it still works as a LAN hub.

Seems to work with 4K cameras
I need a low-cost multi port power over Internet, POE, and found this switch. It’s got a nice metal box should help with any RF leakage, I was a little leery that it would work with my 4K Camera but it works great.Nice inexpensive POE, I would buy again no complaints at all
