Fantastic device! makes BT audio easy
I like to use bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling when using the computer, but using a bluetooth dongle on the PC is prone to various issues resulting in the headphones inevitably glitching out after a couple hours of use. I bought this to bypass Window's Bluetooth implementation and it solved all my issues. The BT signal is crazy strong and can easily get 30' range indoors and probably a lot more outside without obstructions sapping the signal.I plugged this into the PC headphone port (headphone amplifier connected to the PC, actually) and it works like a champ - super fidelity and range is easily 3x the range I got with the PC adapter I was using previously. Pairing was a concern, but it's easy. Just make sure you don't have any other bluetooth devices around (or turn bluetooth off on those devices) the transmitter will pair with the first bluetooth device it finds that is in pair mode. Once paired to a device, it will instantly pair with that device when you turn it on in the future. You can pair a second device and use a switch on the transmitter to switch between them.Great device for the price. Works perfectly, easy to set up, and the sound quality is suberb.

Saved time. Saved money. Works great. Excellent customer service.
I had a "problem," and this device was the answer.I bought the Miccus RTX 2.0 bluetooth transmitter in January, 2018. I have an old style music set-up, with a CD changer, cassette player, turntable, and tuner/amp. I have two pairs of wired speakers, one pair in the kitchen and one in the living room. I had been contemplating getting a distribution box and running wires for two more sets of speakers, one for the dining room and one for the porch, but the physical challenges would take days to overcome. I thought that there must be an easier way, and this is it. I bought the Miccus 2.0 because it said that it could be paired with two devices. I only bought one wireless speaker to try it out. After I had placed the order, I discovered in looking at the product descriptions that the 2.0 does not ship with RCA cables (which I needed), though the less expensive model does. I contacted customer service at Miccus and within a few days I had the cable I needed, no charge. The response to my email was within an hour or two.I hooked up the device to the aux outputs on my amp and turned on the bluetooth speaker. While I stood with the speaker in one hand and the directions for pairing in the other, the devices paired as I read the instructions. I did nothing but turn them on! That's as easy as it gets. Less than five minutes from opening the box to music playing in my hand. I was playing an old John Fogerty LP at the time, and I carried the speaker to the dining room, where before there was no music. On the way there, I noticed something that I should have thought about ahead of time: there's a noticeable lag between the wired and the wireless. Not being a true audiophile, I hadn't considered this, but I don't care. If I'm in a location where the music is playing over the wireless speakers, I will shut the wired speakers off. I can now play LPs, CDs, and cassettes anywhere I want to without the many hours I would have spent running the wires. I have had no issues with losing the pairing or the signal breaking up at a distance of about 25 feet with intervening plaster walls and a brick chimney. I will eventually get a second speaker to pair with the Miccus 2.0. I even saw in the instructions that the devices can be "chained" together. I'm not sure how that works, but I may get another one and try it to see if I can have the same music in four locations without the lag. This device saved me time and money, and it works great. That's 5 stars.

Solved My Problem, But Beware Sound Delay
I live in an apartment and often use noise canceling headphones connected to my PC through bluetooth. Bought this to get a better quality connection in areas of my place where the sound was cutting off. Initially, this thing completely eliminated the sound cutoffs in one area and improved the connection in my most problematic area but not by as much as I was hoping for. However, after realizing I could move this device as far away from my PC as the usb cord length allows, moving it 3 feet closer in the direction of my most problematic area completely eliminated the sound cutoffs there.PC setup was easy. Connect via usb and make sure your PC audio settings display CSR Audio Dongle as a connected bluetooth device. I just followed the instructions in the included manual. I'm on Windows 11 if that helps. Before, I couldn't use my headphones wirelessly with my Denon receiver because the bluetooth connection was terrible. As an unexpected bonus, this device solved that problem as well. The connection between my headphones and my receiver is great now.One big negative I must mention is a very distracting sound delay when you're watching video. Someone's lips move, and then you hear the sound after a noticeable delay. This may be a deal breaker for someone who mainly wants to watch movies or TV while connected through this device. So far, so good after initial setup and testing. I'll update my review if something significant happens later after extended use.
